What nonfictional character was a role model for you?

I know, nonfictional means they aren’t real and there are amazing role models in real life that we should all look up to.

I want you to think for a minute and pick a non fictional person whose character showed good morals for viewers. The choices are limitless and then think about the writing and meaning behind that character and what it says about the creator, the audience, and their story? Could be anything from the Iron Giant, Luke Skywalker, a TV show character, superhero, the options are endless.

Personally I like Uncle Iroh, from Avatar the Last Air bender.

You got "fictional" and "non-fictional" reversed. A non-fictional character would be one that exists in real life. For fictional character role models though, first is Captain Jean-Luc Picard from Star Trek: TNG:

I think he's a near-idealistic leader. He demands discipline and professionalism in public but he's also sensitive and kind in private. He's extremely diplomatic but when diplomacy fails, he can go full-blown commando.

Second one for me is Mr. Miyagi from Karate Kid:

He's the perfect embodiment to me of a man who is so kind and courteous, always on the verge of being a pushover, but without being one. If someone pushes him too far, he's going to kick their ass.

Both of these characters also epitomize Stoic thinking to me, placing principles above passions, avoiding negative and counter-productive thinking patterns. They radiate a sense of inner calm and joy.

Also think these two are perfect embodiments of the gentleman. A gentleman to me is not someone who can't kick someone's ass. It's someone who easily can but chooses not to do so in favor of courtesy and kindness.

character is fiction and non fiction is not a character, unless biography film. which are too boring.

anyway, my role models are not from films. film characters are consistently too "woke" pushing stupid agendas.
