I believe that the primary thing preventing people who want to write a book from finishing it is that it is a grand undertaking and as time consuming as any job.
The second is that people are self conscious and perfectionist.

Having someone to push, help and validate you makes both a lot easier. Of course writing a good book is a different topic. But anyone could write a book about something if they put their mind to it.

whether solo or co-authorship is easier depends on the individual preferences such as strengths n the dynamics of their potential co-authorship

not all r able to write or have skills for it
