Am I wrong for liking books where the guy gets saved by his love interest?

If im honest i do like the damsel in distress trope a little, but i much prefer when the love interest saves and gets the guy. My wife says im weird lol

There aren't any rules about what you enjoy here. Lbr - who wouldn't want to be saved by someone who loves them and is ready to kick asses left and right? You do you.

never heard of such books not because the concept is generally bad but it goes against female nature

yeah women have saved men in stories before but those women were the protagonists and the men were the love interest

seriously though, just look at the way women (mainly feminists) demand that men fix their problems but the moment men have problems of their own, they are told to fix it themselves and feminists don't "owe" them anything lol

whether women can or can not save men doesn't matter, they simply don't want to regardless of their capabilities, therefore gender equality is just a myth

Me too, I don't like Mary Sue's, Mary Sue's are women who are perfect already, and need no character development, nothing to over come. Characters like that are boring.

There’s nothing wrong with enjoying a reverse damsel, but often men are “saved” by women just being a copy of their moms so maybe a little bit if that’s what you mean.

The ones I have read have not been. Most of the male mc's have had poor relationships with their family, and are kind of nerdy and outcast.
