How often do you PAUSE when watching a MOVIE?

When watching a movie at home, sometimes you have to get another drink, or answer the phone, or answer the door, or go to the bathroom. Or, you're just tired of watching the movie and need a few minutes break. Fortunately, you can pause and restart later.

How often do you do that?

oh m ggggg, this is such a perfect example of adhd behaviour... i never knew that until very recently... can you imagine trying to watch INTERSTELLAR 2hr 49mins took me over SEVEN hours... its a repetitive joke in my house... and on some particular shows i will rewind a bit, then re watch, almost at the same point stop again, i then get to a moment where i realise I've watched the same bit about ten times and im like wtaf... the money i pay for disney, prime and netflix is worth every penny for pausing alone... lol

Only if I have to go into another room or deal with other things for a bit.
I only watch them while I'm eating so, quite often, I'll stop it at the end of a scene and then go get other things done and then, the next time I wanna eat, I start it where I left off.
As for "rewinding", I'm only watching DVD's on the laptop so, there is no rewind, really. The only time I go back a few seconds is if I missed something, thought I saw something and wanted to make sure or if something was said and I couldn't figure out what it was.

Depends how into the movie I am. I don't really like pausing movies. It breaks the momentum of the experience. But some movies I have a hard time getting into. And I hate starting things and not finishing then. So even if a watch a lackluster movie I hate not seeing it through to the end. Like I watched this movie last night called "Hick". I thought I'd like it because it had Blake Lively and Chloe Grace Moretz. But I had a hard time getting through that one. It was a very meandering movie.

I sometimes pause for bathroom breaks or food and drink but I also have a habit of watching movies at night and sometimes I have to stop the movie and watch the rest the next day. That will also happen if I’m not all that into it but I still like to finish them in case the ending is better.

I'm ADHD , I'm hyper energetic, for me to focus on the movie is challenging, so to watch all movie I go to cinema , if I watch movie at home , simply I watch movie in 2-3 goes , it is challenging to get me into movie , unless the the movie appeals to me from very start , which happens very rarely, I seen so many movies and so many movies still to see 👀🤓

I pause a few times. Moreso in watching tv shows to pee or get something to drink, do laundry, stuff like that.

If I’m with friends or cousins I might pause a movie 9 times or more but if I watch alone, I never pause the movie unless I’m doing an assignment that involves analyzing the movie for essay purposes.

I watched a 2 hour movie today, and I must have hit pause at least 5 times. It is convenient if you have to leave the room for any reason and you don't want to miss out on anything in the movie.

We pause when we need to. Knowing the logical flow of the movie genre we are watching, we try to break for potty and food during the lulls.
