10. First of all, ask yourselves: will we be good parents?

Making a baby takes 2 people so is important that the couple discuss about it many times. Once is not enough, you need to plan it and be 100 % sure about wanting to become parents. Raising a child is not easy, and taking care of a little human, in my opinion, is the most diffcult thing someone has to do.

Some people are able to reproduce as easily as bunnies, but for others, that’s not always the case. If you’re thinking of having a child someday and want to plan the pregnancy for a certain time period, consider giving yourself some extra time and try not to stress out about the whole thing.

There are so many bad things that can happen while being pregnant. Not to mention the problems that come after.

7. You won't have the time you had before

The little thing will cry all the time so you need to take care of that. You need to be there 24/7, literally lol
The only few hours you will have is when the baby is sleeping, other than that.. forget about even taking a shower.

6. Babies are not cheap

We all know this, but seriously, you need to think about the money before having a little creature. You never know what could happen, if s/he gets sick you're totally screwed because it will be expensive as hell.

5. Going out will never be the same

The little divas want attention XD
When my father, his partner and me go out with little Ariadna we can't even eat. I love the little thing but it's super annoying to deal with her drama. So forget about enjoying a good time out, unless your kid is the best in the world you won't have a good time.

4. You will not sleep as much as you did

Some just have a messep up schedule so they sleep when they please and will cry if you want to make them sleep when you want. Again, SOME. They cry at nights or you just need to wake up to feed them, so having 5 hours of sleep is being so damn lucky.

3. You don't need to buy lot of baby stuff

The creature grows super fast so if you buy too much stuff it's gonna be useless after some time. It's better to wait and buy stuff when they're a bit bigger. Of course is important to have some stuff when they borh tho.

2. Your "me" time is over

My step mom didn't do much before having Ariadna but now she does less than before. She says she misses her "me" time, I can see why lol

1. You will never be the same

You'll become overprotective, you'll be scared of everything and you'll focus on one thing: Your family <3

10. I'm definitely sure. I've want to be a mom for as long as I can remember, it means everything. I know right now, I'm not in the right place for it but I'm hoping one day soon I will be.

Being as that I'm the product of two people that tried for 10 years to have kids, until one day they decided to give up and spend the money they saved for having a baby, on buliding the house they've always wanted. Then two weeks after they moved in, my mom become pregnant with me. I completely understand and get that for some it's easy and others it's not.

5. See, I think that is all chalked up to parenting skills. I see how kids act in stores and I would have NEVER been allowed to act like that, ever. So, one can enjoy themselves if they discipline the kids and have what they need to keep the baby calm. I'm sure it can be a hard task but I don't deem it impossible.

4. I don't sleep good now, so it wouldn't really matter to me lol.

3. People get excited and go a little over board, it happens but it' s nothing that you can't sell at a garage sell or give to someone you know that is expecting. Not a huge deal.

2. Again, I believe that's about time mangement. You can make time for yourself, if you find a way to make it work. I'm a shy quiet loner who's an only child, I have plenty of "me" time. Not having any for a little while wouldn't bother me.

1. I'm already scared of everything lol, so that's not going to matter. But, it's true what they say "having a baby changes everything".

Like I said, I've always wanted to be a mom. It's my dream and everything to me, being 28 and never having had a relationship, I don't see it happening but I'd be really happy if it did.

Yes, very good. I have 3 boys.
The only comments I would say is not neccessarily ask "will I be a good parent" as much as "Do I really want to be a parent". If your heart does not 100% say yes, don't do it. Being scared of it is not the same as not wanting to do it. it is scarry as hell, but so worth it. Nobody knows if they will be a good parent until you do it. It is a huge shock once it happens. Whatever you envision parenthood to truly be like, forgetaboutit, it is different.
A lot of people really worry they don't get pregnant right away. Our first was when my ex wife was on the pill. So it was a surprise even though we wanted kids. Actually 1 week before we found out we had decided to wait 1 yr lol... but we both didn't want to wait.
Our 2nd and 3rd children were planned. it took her 1 month from when we starte trying to know that she was pregnant. however the 3rd took 3 months. But some take much longer. Basically we just had sex every day. For me that was not fun after a week or so.. and with the 3rd child I finally had to say 'we are taking a break" because it was becoming a chore. I don't have the highest sex drive so that was not easy.

OK, I've already been convinced that a real human baby of my own just won't work for me. I want a better alternative if I needed someone or rather something like that. No, I don't exactly mean adopting either, well yes, kinda and no, not exactly.

If it ever becomes possible for real in my life time then I would rather have something like an Child-like Android/Mecha like David from that movie A. I. Artificial Intelligence instead of a biological child, and only assuming it would be affordable. It would be like adopting BUT better suitable for me. Or maybe something like Mega Man. Imagine having an android that serves as the role of your kid and being able to provide physical security for you at all time, I think it' would be a much better alternative.

Still hoping the research in AI developments will eventually lead to such possibilities. And if it don't work out I have no chance but to return him or it back to the factory.

I believe there is absolutely 0 percent chance that I would ever be someone's biological father unless if I had donated my sperm or something but I would never be willing to do that either. The current state of the world, my own personal issues and outlook on life and this reality, having a reality check all had factored into how I ultimately feel and think about bringing somebody into this world and reality.

And even if I were to do something like donating my sperm they would have me sign confidentiality agreements on not to not try and find out if some girl or woman out there had used my sperm and had conceived a child with it, etc.

There is one extremely important point to consider before having a baby: can you afford to take the time off work to have the baby?

A lot of families have both parents working. It is extremely efficient to raise your income when you have 2 people working. Having a baby can screw up your family economy so bad you have to make serious cut backs. If the wife job (as well as the husband's) doesn't have some sort of policy for pregnancy then you are looking at making half of what you make. Your bills increases and your salary goes down. It's a massive hit to your savings and might drain it if you can't afford the mortgage with only 1 income.

I've known since I was a teenager that I didn't want children and that's never changed, probably never will lol. And some of it is for the reasons you listed but it's mostly because I just don't feel the need to be a mother, I don't feel like it's something I want to do with my life and I don't feel like i'm missing anything.

Why only point out the bad of having a baby. There's so much good that comes with it. My daughter saved my life and I will try for the rest of my life to make sure she has the life I never had.
You can have "me" time when they're napping. You can have "me" time when they get older. Kids grow fast and once you have them having me time doesn't really matter. I'd rather be with my daughter than by myself.

You're correct about having difficulties getting pregnant though, I'm trying for a second one and it's not working too well lmfao.
Plus there's chances of miscarriages which really suck.
Birth is a pain in the ass and I cried the whole time but thank God for epidurals.
