Words using each of the 26 alphabets with cool sayings

India honor of my 26th MyTake, I'm going to list a popular thing that start with each letter of the alphabet and discuss it.

A (apple)

An apple a day keeps the doctors away. This is often meaning apples are good for health.

B (Bandaid)

A bandaid may cover up small wounds but bandages works better with larger cuts.

C (Cat)

When the cat is awry, the mice will play. This means mice are at peace knowing they aren't in immediate danger.

D (Dogs)

If you can't run with the big dogs, stay in the porch. This means that we are not to get involved in things if we aren't willing to handle the potential consequences due to it being too hard for us to hang with.

E (Each)

To each their own. This means that aren't usually into it but don't mind if you are.

F (Fishy)

That sounds awfully fishy. This means that your story seems to be not adding up in some aspects.

G (Game)

You are bringing your A game dating now. This means that game in this sense is that you are improving big time or on top of things greatly.

H (Horse)

I don't have a horse in this race. This doesn't necessarily mean the animal, horse. It means they are not rooting for either team basically.

I (Icky)

Spider make me icky. This means that spiders seems gross to them.

J (Jump)

You need to jump to it now. This means you need to start doing it now and not delay, not actual jumping.

K (Keeper)

Your girlfriend is a real keeper. This means you need to make you you and her stays together because others will be hard to find.

L (Lay)

Lay off the soda. This means you need to quit drinking soda.

M (Mark)

You really missed the mark. This means that you made a huge mistake or you had an extremely bad guess.

N (Number)

He really has your number. This means that a man is showing dominance over another person in certain areas, usually competitive sports.

O (Oddball)

My aunt is an oddball in my family. This means that she is uncommon and not like many others in the family in any way.

P (Play)

Don't play games with me. This is often used when people detect lying. They don't mean actual games.

Q (Quack)

That doctor is a quack. This means they are a fraud and dishonest, usually intentionally and not ignorantly.

R (Road)

I'm about to hit the road. This means people are getting ready to leave and travel, usually not by walking.

S (Seat)

That coach is on the hot seat. This means his or her job is in jeopardy.

T (Teeth)

Escaped by the skin of your teeth. This means a person barely by the narrowish of margins accomplished good or avoided evil.

U (Use)

Use it or lose it. This means if you don't take advantage of what you have, it will be gone soon.

V (Victors)

Hail to the victors. This is often used when a team deserves credit for their winning ways.

W (Work)

All work and no play. This means we need to be serious about things and not joke around.

X (X-ray)

This x-ray isn't showing accurately. The x is for the radiation.

Y (Young)

Too young to die. This is often said when people seem to be cheated out if many years in life.

Z (Zip)

Zip your lips. This means not to say a word, and usually due to a secret and usually a dirty secret.
