why not ask for some money to buy some groceries or buy ready meals? or better yet deal with the issue with your mom or stay with a relative until she sorts herself out, get your dad involved - it is a possibility that an argument/quarrel between them has left your mom in a state of spite, and likely ignoring her responsibilities due to this as a selfish sense of rebellion, very childish behavior.. i assume your mom is in her later years, only old adults behave like selfish butthurt children.
what i'm surprised with is that most people are ignoring the fact that her mom is being an irresponsible parent and needs to be reported to the police, its the parents responsibility to take care of their offspring and it is in many countries illegal to do otherwise unless they officially relinquish legal responsibility and rights over the child or are physically unable to do so due to disabilities or other complications.
my suggestion, report her to the police before you starve, or get your father to deal with her.

Have you never gone shopping? I've shopped for food at 16, it's not hard. Your mum may even appreciate you offering to go shopping for her. You should've accepted the cheese on toast, it's still food. Obviously you have enough food in the house to make something, it's not like your cupboards are bare and your mum still offered, but you refused. In situations like this, you can't be picky and if you were actually ravaging for food, you would've accepted it. You could buy a pot noodle for a few pence, all you have to do is add hot water. If you have an egg and cheese, make an omelette, they're easy to make. Google how to cook things if you don't know. There's many things you can do for yourself.
Ask your mum why she's being like this, she could be depressed and/or exhausted from work. She probably expects you at your age to cook for yourself.
If your mum refused to give you money for food and refused to feed you, then you could go to social services but I don't see this happening.
Wow.
Umm. Before I judge, is there something wrong with your mum? Like are you sure she's "really lazy" and not suffering from something like ME or MS? She may not be diagnosed so maybe you should just take the time to ask her "do you feel okay, how come your so tired, how long has this been going on, any other symptoms". You know, she's been there your whole life, be there for her.
Are you having money troubles? I mean if your dad hasn't done the shopping either then there must be a reason.
And if it's not lack of money and lack of supplies and you can't carry it home... why not ask to borrow her card and get a takeaway?
The best thing to do is just ask for money and go shopping yourself. The worst scenario in this case is that she doesn't have money, but if she doesn't have money then her being lazy wouldn't be an issue. He lack of money would be. So, ask for money and the worst case scenario where she gives you money is that you have to walk to the store, but if you're seriously really hungry, then walking to the store is worth it. I've had to do that when I lost my car and I lived about 3 miles from the grocery store. It wasn't fun but it allowed me to feed myself with real food.
explain the situation to your mother. explain to her that you are hunger haven't eaten dinner in days and would like to have some sort of an arrangement in place to make sure there is dinner provided to you. if she isn't going to be awake for whatever reason she should at least purchase things you can easily make or leave with money to order in...
if she seems unwilling to listen or work with you then maybe you bring the issue up to your dad

Congrats on your early start of college life. Then learn hoe to cook. If you don't have something in hand that you're used to eating then make something with what you have. No excuses girl parent showed me to not be dependent on them especially when it came to food. Watch the food network or cooking channel, get on YouTube look up stuff. You learn from your mistakes in the kitchen I wasn't so hot when I started out but practice makes progress then perfect. Good luck girl its not hard to make food I'm serious.
here's a thought, make your own food madam, its a great skill then perhaps you can cook for your family when your mum is tired (she is not lazy, poor woman must have something going on), or simply call places that deliver food like a pizza place or Chinese food place..
Jeez, how will you manage to function in real life? You obviously could have asked your father for grocery money, and when there you could have bought microwave dinner stuff since you don't know how to cook (?) (I sure hope you learn soon if you don't know) and I'm sure you'll live for one night.
Have you discussed this with your family? (If you didn't please do..)
This is a very tight situation...
First open the fridge, cabinets, or anywhere where there will be food.
See if you can make something out of them..
Another option is, just. eat. the. toast.
You are starving. Why in the world would you reject to poor sandwich? (Sandwich will be sad and your stomach will be angry)
Umm... If possible get a part time job for money..I'll have to disagree with everyone here and say that its the parents duty to make sure that their children are well fed, seeing as though you're under the age of 18. You can do one of two things, 1. Call Children's Aid, 2. Get a part-time job and buy the following
1. 10lb bag of brown rice
2. Pasta
3. lentils
4. Bread
5. Milk
6. Peanut Butter
7. fruits and veggies
8. eggs
You can survive and maintain a healthy diet eating those foods.Sorry your hungry so sad to think i hope you can get some help
one thing my family was messed up but they saw everyone got fed
who were hungry, my late grandma she fed anyone who came to her house
you never leave her house hungry this makes me sad :(If you are unable to drive yourself to a store or a part time job talk to your dad about this, an outside family member, and possibly eventually Child Protective Services. You are under 18 and I also believe it's your parents responsibility to provide you with food even if you have to make it yourself. You should at least have access to some food.
Take a piece of nice oatmeal bread, put a layer of strawberry jelly on it. Then fry an egg sunny side up with butter or olive oil, and put the egg on top of the jelly bread.
SO good!
www.mouthymag.com/.../...e3rvBMSj1qhtqp3o1_500.gifLearn to cook. You know how to make a scrambled egg on a frying pan? Easy. Cut cheese into little pieces and put the pieces all over the egg while it's frying. Mmmmmm...
Just because she hasn't cooked for only three days doesn't make her lazy, she I probably very tired and doesn't want to do anything at the moment. That's happened with my mom so I suggest asking her for some money, ask one of your friends and their parent to take you to a grocery mart. And buy foods that make you satisfied for a long time. Some are oatmeal, oatmeal, OATMEAL.
Order pizza. Walk to the grocery store. Drive (?) to the grocery store. Be self sufficent. When I was your age I was constantly cooking for myself on the weekends while my parents went out drinking.
I was working at your age and cooking my own food... Do not rely on others for survival, unless you're a toddler. If things are that bad at home, you must mature fast!! Get a job, move out and learn to cook!!
This is your training for college
Step 1. Find some ramen noodles
Step 2. Cook said noodles
Step 3. Eat
Are you still hungry? If so commence step 1 through 3 again.Do groceries, make food. Done. I don't see the problem. I have to cook sometimes too. You should worry about your mom by the way. She shows signs of depression. Talk with your parents and ask what's wrong.
I laughed so hard when i saw this question.
ramen is always the best option. even raw. get your hands on some of that, its like $2 for a box of 10.
you're mom sounds depressed if not lazy.I have the same problem sometimes, nobody ever taught me to cook so it can be really difficult, I just end up eating chips and getting on with my life. Some of my friends get big dinners every night and I get so jealous.
Steal her credit card and order a lot of pizza, wings, and Chinese. The. tell her thank you for dinner it was delicious next time go grocery shopping!
Cook? : Scrambled eggs, french toast (eggs, bread, salt, oil), if there is any meat cook that and eat it with bread. Or go to a friends/cousins house and raide their fridge, I do both daily... hehe
parents can't starve their children it's against the law
