What does it mean when a guy calls a girl scary?

I am pretty quiet and shy. And naturally I don't smile. I've already overhead two different guys say that I am scary. And neither of whom know me that well. Am I ugly? I don't think I look mean. Maybe serious? At work I've been told that I look like I'm a little high strung or stressed.

They may think there is More in store than they See, and deep inside, they feel that you are really this Time bomb who could Explode at any time with something for everyone to see with thee.
Explode is like someone who just comes out of their shell with good or bad. I don't think it has anything to do with your face.

I'm a guy, and I know what you are going through. I said this once to a girl, and I really didn't know here. The first time we met, she didn't know how to interact with me but could with everyone else, then after talking to her, I told her that she isn't intimidating. but I thought she would be scary and she would flip a lid, and if want to know the reason why, she could go ask her BFF who is my sister finger, witch I talk to her and she told me she is guarded. For me I have anxiety issue, and she had the same problem and we didn't know how to take each other. The last time I talk to her she acted all fidgety and blew me off when we're alone, but then give me awkward hello and be her self with me around her friends. All I can say is, talk to the guys and ask them why! For me, I was afraid of befriending people after being burnt. They may feel the same way or they may like your or they just fuckin dicks. You never know until you find out!

He means you're scared to go to the next level with him. You act like you want to and you're ready but in reality you're not. It's not that you don't want to but you're also not sure that's the part that makes you "scary". Nothing to do with violence.
