What does it mean if a guy introduces you to his friends?

this guy and i aren't anything. i was visiting town this weekend (staying at his friends house with him) and he hosted a party. when i came downstairs probably halfway through he brought me over to every single person there and introduced me. he didn't do that with the other girl i was with? why is that? he had also mentioned something earlier about looking bad in front of his friends ( completely different topic but shows maybe he was worried about how he looks to them?)
