Guys: Do you expect your girlfriend to be stronger than your friends?

My boyfriend doesn't like me being moody or emo. He gets very upset, he would scold me instead of comforting me.

So basically now I just hide if I'm having a bad day. When he has his bad days I pretty much be as supportive as I can.

He's a lot more forgiving to his friends if they're having a bad day and would spend time with them, whereas for me he basically scolded me and went to play his game. What's up with that?

You are a human being allowed to express your feelings with close and loved ones and he should be the last person to be so mean when you need a shoulder to cry on. He is not fair on you! he better start respecting your feelings or in the long run it can turn you into an ice lady which is not nice. If he continues to this to you, when he is not there for you in your bad days then you must think seriously if this is what you want in the long run.

Because your boyfriend cares more for you than his friends, he is more sensitive to your bad behaviors than theirs. In other words, when they act up he blows it off because he doesn’t really care about them. But if you act up, he’s more likely to say something because he cares about you and is taking it as you hurting him.

I would hate it too, if I were you. Your boyfriend should be your friend in the first place.

I usually find excuses for everyone, but this is not to be excused...I'm sorry, I know how much it hurts.

I agree that this sucks for you, but at this point, his friends take precedence. For better or for worse, that's the way it is with most guys until they're much more mature and/or married.
