Would You Go Around Naked In Front of Your Children?

If you would, what age would you stop? Would the age of stopping depend on the gender of your child/children?

My wife and I go nude around our son very often. We pretty much never dress until we're getting ready to leave the house. I grew up with nudist parents, and am still a nudist. My son doesn't mind at all, in fact he knows if we're dressed when we get him up in the morning that he's going to daycare right away, so he's actually more likely to be upset by that.

Im not sure i could ever do that even as they are babies. it just doesn't seem right.

I wouldn't walk around naked. With my son I stopped changing clothes with him there at like age 4. My daughter was more like 6 but I felt more comfortable cuz we are both girls.

Now growing up my mom and I would change in the same room especially when we shared one. I never felt uncomfortable with it.

I don't see the point in traumatizing a kid like that when it's not the social norm.

My family is a bunch of nudist. My mom and dad walked around naked till the day they died.

My aunt at 82 is another one. She is still alive and kicking and still a nudist.

It was not uncommon to see it growing up. To me it was a normal everyday thing.

As for me I'm all for it, but my wife is against it.

I think there is a balance between normalising average bodies and nudity and exposing children to inappropriate things.
My son isn’t yet two, we’re still nude around him and he has a bath with my husband every night but as he becomes more aware of both his body and ours it’ll start to incorporate privacy and where nudity is acceptable like our own bedrooms and for bathing. Not in shared spaces as normal behaviour

I feel like it's important to stop at a certain age... id say once they can use the bathroom and take a shower or bath by themselves then they for sure should no longer see you naked but as a general rule and model example, you should always strive to be clothed at all times in front of your kids.

So you said that your friend took a shower with her 4 yead old. Most millennial parents do that honestly. I'm not 100 percent sure why but i know its a thing. I personally find it weird. Your kid doesn't need you on the shower with them come on now.

I think once in while I saw one of my parents with little nude showing
but as a general rule, we never saw each other naked, one time I was
a teen and forgot my bedclothes and ran up in front of mom with no
clothes on oops me bad

If you’ve done it from the start. Then at least in your own household. it is viewed as normal behavior. Even as they get older.
