Why would anyone forgive their sibling's murderer?

I read that AB Quintanilla (former singer Selena's older brother) has forgiven Yolanda Saldivar, the woman that killed his sister.

I believe murder, rape and torture are three unforgivable things a person can do to another. Those 3 things simply have no forgiveness whatsoever. None.

They wanna make another movie of " selena's life " as if one wasn't enough. And I don't know how that piece of scum murderer is still alive 🚮 .

They made another movie into a series on Netflix. I think the 1997 movie was enough already.
I know right, that nasty witch has never displayed true remorse (even so, it doesn't changes what she did) and had the nerves to blame Selena's father for her actions, falsely accusing him of assault and rape and till this day tried to taint Selena's image by saying false things.
The day she dies will be happiness for us, the family and all her other fans.

I know right. What sucks is that she can still apply for parole in 2025 and if they decide to let her go, she'll be free. I hope she remains locked up forever.

Part of me wishes he visits her (after finding out her health issues with her kidneys) to tell her to continue rotting in prison and that karma got her good.

I'm wondering about that possibility too. There is no way a normal, sane person would be able to forgive something of that magnitude. Even if that killer repents, nothing is going to bring back his sister.
