How big was your baby when it was born?
(4.508 Kilograms and 57.15cm)
haven't had kids yet. Guess I can just tell you that I know I was 7.5 lbs at birth. lol
Something like 9 hours after the water broke I was born. Oh and it was during dinner time. I was a born troll.
I was 10.5 lbs, 22 1/4".
Hardest labor for my mom even being 6 of 6 kids.
My wife is 5'.
Our girls were 6.9 and 7.1 lbs.
Her first labor, 2 pushes after they broke her water. From the first time they said "push" ...2 minutes.
Second labor, they broke her water and she pushed..."waaaahhgg!" 45 seconds.
Y'all must be doing it wrong.
Nice… I’m 5ft as well…
2 kids… easy pregnancy and labor…
Was she very physically active?
@midnightmoon05 not really. She just got lucky.
No one can explain it. The whole staff, for both births, had never seen labor so short and easy.
During the birthing class a nurse said to the whole audience "latinas are the worst. They moan and wail so loud it seems like they're going to wake up the whole hospital."
That pissed my wife off SO much!
She decided that she was going to show that nurse.
We had to do pain control exercises. Hold a handful of ice and just breathe through the pain. Everyone else took one handful, my wife took two. She did the exercise twice their and would practice at home.
it seems that when the pain gets to be too much women tend to push before they are fully dilated. that causes the mouth of the cervix to become engorged with blood and makes it harder to fully dilate. my wife resisted the desire to push, breathing through the pain. and when the said push, our 1st daughter was 2 pushes. our second daughter was 1 push.
i may be wrong in how this works but i don't care. my wife had two of the shortest labors that a total of abut 12 staff ever witnessed. that's what she did.
hopefully this might help others.
Yeah… no idea how all that works..
Was easy for me.
I didn’t take any classes… just went in to hospital… came out with baby lol …
No epidurals
My oldest daughter (now 25) was born very premature and only weighed 1 lb.11 oz...
My second/last daughter (now 22 about to turn 23 this month) was born just a few weeks early and weighed 6lbs 5 oz

daughter… 5 pound something … small … she is in good shape as a teen.

You almost had a ten pound trophy baby.
My daughter was the biggest and was only 9 pounds and a few ounces.
I can assure you his size was not a trophy it was traumatizing… love him to death, but dear god that child almost rolled me in half.
❤️ thanks :)
I had twins was my first one was 5 pounds a 6 ounces the twin was born at 1 pound and 7 ounces. Twin did not live
I was 21
I’m so sorry for your loss
All three of my kids (grown now) were in the 7 pound range, 18-19 inches long, all born at full-term.
I don’t have kids but I was 8 pounds when I was born. I think that is considered big. My mother had a lot of issues during her pregnancy.
My oldest was 6lbs12oz 21inch, middle was 6lbs3oz 18inch and youngest was 7lbs10oz 20inch. All my labors were identical at 15 hours
Quite a big baby! And so long labor :(
I was waaay smaller when I was born haha if I remember correctly 45 cm and 2.7 kg
My wife gave birth to 3 children. The first was 9 lbs 1 Oz. The second was 9lbs 6oz and the third was 10lbs even. I don't remember how long they were though
Not sure I remember these details because it’s been long enough to forget & move on.
One 6lbs 7.5oz 22.5inch other one 9lbs 15oz 20 inch. They have 18 months apart and the second one already caught up in size.
I don't have children yet. but I was born 52 centimeters. I do not know how many kilograms he was born. I have to ask my mother.
