I think that's cool! I wanna be a secret agent too except I have a horrible time keeping my own secrets (not so bad at keeping other people's secrets, but with my own, I'm a disaster). I might try slapping them on the face and see what happens -- maybe they can tackle me and do some super secret agent moves on me. And I'm like, "Wow, cool! Please teach me!" [Try to slap them again].

We already have a fire chief, a navy chief a doctor, two (soon to be three) teachers, a nonprofit hospital sustainability director, two missionaries…lots of public service in my family. A secret agent would be cool but it’s rarely like the movies. That much paperwork on such a regular basis doesn’t sell tickets haha. One that gets found out by amateurs like family members clearly isn’t a very good one.

The job itself isn't a secret; the details about what goes on pertaining to the job are, and often for reasons far less sexy than Hollywood would have you believe.

I have a few friends who either are, or are interested in those career fields.

Friends and family usually already know when they’re undercover agents. They can be employees for the FBI, CIA “state department” 😏, or the NSA. They can say who they work for, they just can’t say what they do.
