Would you help an old friend who is trying to change, even if they screwed you over before?

This friend of mine, I'll call it a deep betrayal because I don't want to get into it.

She started hanging out around the wrong crowd. Life kicked her ass and now she's seemingly gotten rid of these toxic people who were dragging her down.

I came to terms with the fact that the version of this girl I loved is gone now. But what kind of credibility do I have as a man if I tell her no after she's been through so much to try to fix herself.

I've done unforgivable things in my past. She's done things to me that any other person would hate her for. But I always believed in her.

If she really has made these changes maybe I still do.

She told a mutual friend that she wants the three of us to get together. But I can't tell if it's better to let the past be the past, or if forgiving her means giving this girl one more chance for my attention and hoping I'm strong enough not to make the same mistake twice.
