What do I do in this situation?

So when I was little I had this friend and for the sake of this question I'll call her Lexa. So fast forward to now I'm 14. ( So is Lexa) I haven't Lexa in years. My mom was at the beach with her friends this past weekend and saw Lexa and her friends. My mom is good friends with her parents and asked where they were, and Lexa said that they dropped here off there. (All this info is coming from my mom by the way). So as my mom continues the story she says how grown up Lexa looks. My mom says to me "Lexa looks so grow up, she was wearing a bikini and has big boobs." Yes, my mom said that to me. My mom tells me that Lexa said she wants to call me and hang out some time. I don't quite know what to say, mainly because I don't know if I'm going to say or do something stupid or weird. I only have 2 friends that are girls, both are younger than me and are more like family since we see each other all the time and our parents are good friends. So what do I do? My mom hasn't actually given me her number, and to my knowledge my mom hasn't given Lexa my number. So again what do I do?

Get the number and call her silly. What's the problem you just shy? You scared of girks?

I get it you're 14 and nervous, but honestly only way to get better at talking to girls is actually talking to girls. Call her and say hi its been a while what are you up to whats been going on. Find out what her interests are, what she likes to do then ask her if she'd like to do something like that with you.

Obviously she likes to hang out at the Beach so meet up with her at the beach and hang out. Go swimming, surfing or what ever you do at the beach.

I mean your 14, so honestly you can't mess it up to bad, and if it doesn't work out you got the chance to learn something about girls, and you got your whole life to get better at it.

No problem, you want to be with girls some day then you got to start some where. So you just going to for it at some pion. I see you're 16 so thats a good age to start. Over time it gets easier, but don't get all disappointed if it doesn't work out. Most the time it doesn't. But if you got an in with a girl, you need to take advantage of the opportunity.

I think it's kinda weird for your mom to mention her swimsuit and breasts. Is that all your former friend is now, an attractive body? It does sound like you want to reconnect with her, so get her number and rekindle the friendship.
