I told my friend I might be able to go to a concert with her cos I dont like saying no to people to a but unfortunately I can't get the day off work because someone else is on holiday and I've told her the situation and now she's saying I either go with her or she won't be my friend anymore and I dont want to let her down but I also dont want to risk losing my job where I've only been a few month

Screw her. She has no right to make you risk your job like that. Tell her you can’t go.
