Is it fair for my father to call me a bad person because?

My Father calls me a horrible person. He sends me long articles about "horrible people" and "becoming better" as a person. He used to tell me that I would never have lasting relationships or friendships because of my personality, and so did my step-mother. I never did anything to them and it was when I was a child.

We started to make-up and be on good terms again, but then I told him I had to repeat one year at college because of my mental health. I'm still going to graduate though. He swore at me, told me I'm an "awful person" and "how could I do this to him" and hasn't talked to me for 3 months. He now posts subliminal messages on social media saying I'm a bad person and etc.

Is this fair at all of him?
