Should a girl ever be hated for her mother's bad actions just because she looks like her?

My date's mother hates me because I look just like my mother. My mother had an affair with 3 married men in the past, is the typical radical woman many hate and has cried wolf once, nearly making a man go to jail.

She tried to have an affair with the woman's husband too. The hate obviously hates my mother but she hates me too for being the product of her. She said ''You're a clip of the old block, both are made from the cut of the same stone'' and vented on how I'm probably trying to entangle her son, do him wrong, baby trap him in the future, etc. She ended with him ''Whenever I look at you, I see her. You're just like your mother''.

I left in tears. I can't do nothing about my physical aspect. It's not my fault I look like her. I have no intention of ever doing what my mother did to others. Should a girl be hated for that reason? Just because she physically looks like a replica of her mother when she was young?

I'm only 17, still in my last year of HS. It's not fair to get hated so much for something I have no control over. The lady said I look exactly like my mother when she was my age and still look like her.
