Are these particular girls being shallow towards me?

I don't personally find myself attractive at all but I do what I gotta on life

I'm asking this because there are a few gals who work as cashiers at a particular target store I'm closest too & for the 8 months I shopped there I wasn't greeted ever but rather treated very cold & stern & slight sarcastic undertones

These same gals would be more open towards everyone else regardless of appearance

Other male & female cashiers would be slightly better towards me

I'm just asking if I was just dealing with some shallow individuals

This is highly unlikely to be about your appearances. It is probably one of two things.

It's probably either it's your actions or body language.
or
It's your imagination.

Since you only mentioned Target and didn't say it happened anywhere else, it could be a third thing. Maybe you said or did something in the past at that store that gave negative vibes to the employees. You might not remember it. You might not have even realized it at the time.

People tend to react in kind. If you smile, are friendly and open, then people tend to be the same with you. If you have a poker face and give off closed vibes, people will act the same with you.

Perhaps or they sensed something about you that unsettled them. Dealing with public can make most people distant and rude...

that's probably not a very good vibe as it may come off unfriendly... especially with no smile.

But I was already somewhat considered a pariah because of my lack of appearance

So why would they be put off by my closed off demeanor?

Acting ugly makes you uglier... how people thing and perceive.

So I'll be perceived as an asshole regardless if I avoid it engage with others?

If I brag about lifting crazy weight & BACKING IT UP & other trifle things such as whooping butt in a physical sport or online e video game

How would my "triumphs" be perceived seeing as I'm unattractive with a very low status rating social speaking

I've bragged about said above around toxic men & gals & from my experiences

I was completely ignored or scoffed but left alone & not bothered... mostly
