I am 18 and I've been trying to get my id since may 2022 but my mother keep saying she will take me to get it but never do I even tried to go visit my dad so he can take me but she come with excuses on why I can't go atp I am fed up with her bullcrap , what should I do?
Why can’t you go and get your own ID? Why do you have to wait for mummy or daddy to do it for you? You’re an adult not a child, if your mum gets on your nerves either tell her or save up and move out, but as an adult she can’t stop you doing anything.
Why can’t you just go get it yourself? You wanna be treated like an adult but you can’t figure out how to make your own dmv appointment and get it on your own? lol. It’s not hard…
My mom tries to control my life at 34... but not much I can do about it because I live under her roof... all I can recommend is lie to her xD

Follow directions until you move-out and pay your own Rent. If you are then that frees you up for freedom assertion. Otherwise, you're the equivalent of a 14 year old.
If you still leave with hrr, get a job and move alone. Otherwise, her house, her rules... Just put up with it untik. you can move
Do You suffer from anxiety? The reason I ask is because maybe you feel comfortable having someone with you I know being a young adult is scary. If not just get it on your own.
If your 18, move out, as she won't be able to control you once your on your own.
If you're 18 and an adult. You wouldn't need your parents help. I think that's what they are trying to show you.
You are 18, find a place to move out to. She can't make you stay. You dont need her for an ID.
