Why is it easier to be friends with boys than trying to be friends with other girls?

Like I don't get it, in my experience boys have been easier to get along with. Is this just a one off experience? Have you had better experiences with either gender in particular?

Because opposite gender understands you better than same gender and its a known fact opposites attract. Secondly boys don't ditch and don't do gossips like many girls.

It depends. For men, guys are pretty easy to befriend, but are dicey. Some are very standoffish around men, others are friendly, and most are somewhere in between until given a reason to be something else. But for women, it's fairly easy to befriend either sex in general for probably obvious reasons. But sometimes it seems easier for women to befriend men because women like to compete with each other and are very emotionally fluid, while men don't have any reason to compete with women, and very good at separating emotion from logic. So women who are naturally more logical and emotionally consistent can be stressed out or ostricized by other women while being at ease and accepted by men.

But there is more to it because notice how I said it SEEMS like they are easier to befriend. It entirely depends on the women and men in question. More feminine men are great at connecting with women but might be ostracized by more masculine men. But if the straight men are the ones befriending the women, there is the possibility the lady makes male friends easily solely because they want to have sex with her. And women might avoid her because of this or her lack of awareness of it and her attention seeking.

It's really not correct to say it's easier to be friends with boys because 60% of the time, the girl is actually leading these boys on (knowingly or not) and using them to get attention (and sometimes other things) while the boys are hoping to date her or have sex. That's obviously not friendship. There are just too many factors to make generalizations.
