If my mother is sick in the hospital, do you think I should go to a family friends house to watch the football game?

I want to now what everyone here thinks. I 17, texted my mom in the hospital wishing her well and she told that I should go to a family friends house to watch the football game the eagles vs the chiefs.

But the only problem is I don’t really want to go and I don’t know if I should go because she wants me to go and I don’t think it’s fair or right to go do something fun while my moms sick and hurting.

What do you think? Opinions please?

If you are home alone you should go to a friends house so you won't be alone. Your mother is looking out for you.

Sounds like she doesn’t want you to worry and wants you to enjoy yourself but doesn’t have a better way of expressing it
