Something I grew up learning about girl’s , if she is mean to me , it really means she likes me? So yes I say this will lean more toward being true because I had girls in my life that were pretty mean and vicious to me to realize they wanted to rip my clothes off lol Pretty much how I keep a girl girl by my side by playing good guy bad guy , , if she shows no anger or disrespect towards me on occasion then she really doesn’t love me , is how I look at it cuz girl’s need that drama in their lives to keep them satisfied and to get them in bed lol

+1 yFalse cuz your enemys enemys probably dislike your enemy for a reason that has nothing to do with you unless he or she is the type to take sides on things that are none of her or his business if thats the case she or he is probably nosy bithchy and toxic and won't make a good friend anyway.

Unfortunately, yes. It’s stupid and immature, though. Bond over something else (i. e. similar senses of humor).

+1 yVery true. It is two-pronged in how you could use it though. In both ways, you'll use one enemy to destroy the other. In one scenario you can ally with one enemy (as a friend) in order to group up against the other. In another, you can have them go at each other.
The perspective is very Machiavelli-an. It's in terms of ceasing power and maintaining it. You may hate it morally at times, but it is effective if you want to win overall. If you have two stronger parties both willing to destroy you, then set them upon each other and watch them slap box.10 ReplyI'd say more likely that even if they're a temporary ally, they're likely to be a future enemy. We were close allies with Russia in WWII with the shared goal of crushing Nazi Germany, and have been enemies with them ever since achieving that goal, even when it was completely unnecessary.
Like the opposite is true, the friend of my friend is my friend, or at least acquaintance, and your friends will help with your enemies. Expecting to make friends over enemies though... ehh, too much of a stretch.
There are many other men who dislike sucking dick, it doesn't mean that we're friends, likewise for women being buddy buddy just because they don't enjoy fish tacos.

Yes. The frenemy was initially my friend until she went for my dude. After their little one night stand, he and i got back together like two idiots. Later on we break up and he's seeing a new girl. So the old friend and i work together to break them up. He ends back up with me but was supposedly starting to flirt with her again. So she and i were right back at eachothers necks

Wise words @DizzyDesii
It's temporary, and applicable mostly to politics. That is why we see various rebel groups uniting against the government. But as soon as the capital falls, civil war part 2 starts as former allies are fighting amongst themselves. The enemy of my enemy is useful to me.

+1 yTrue.
Coworker discovered his wife was cheating on him. Split up she moved in with new guy. New guy got into a car accident was in hospital. When he returned home it was empty. She sold everything and pocketed the cash.
He called up my coworker who was going through all these custody & spousal support battles & offered any help he could provide just to screw her over.

+1 yPeople that openly talk negatively about others are actively demonstrating why I will keep them at armslength.
Don't get me wrong, I have a friend that is a sociopath, we won't bond, but I'll find places for them. But if all you do is trashtalk.. there is no place for that type of toxicity in my circle.00 ReplyI try not to make any enemies but I also don't try to make friends, if someone I'm around doesn't like someone else we both know that's fine just don't expect me to talk about people because I find it quite boring and I'm not a two faced person so best just to keep it all to yourself because I also won't listen to what others think about people as I will form my own opinion if need be.

+1 yOnly true for a sufficient scale and extremity as I see it where having a great enough threatens both of your mutual survival that any hostilities in the past have to be forgotten if you want to survive.
10 ReplyFalse.
Enemy of my enemy can be useful but not necessarily a friend, because they can be your enemy as well. If you enemies tear each other to pieces you shouldn't do anything to gain attention, because they could ally against you.10 ReplyUndetermined. You don't know, given the information we have within the question, whether or not the enemy of your enemy is also your enemy.

I was thinking the same thing
+1 yThat's something that only works in political alliances, and only for a determined period. I mean: common interests that come to an end once that so-called enemy has been neutralized. Friendship has nothing to do with such calculations.

m +1 yFalse, but the enemy of my enemy is a tool that I can exploit to help destroy my enemy.
30 ReplyWell from my perspective, friendship is based in common values so... That friendship would share a common enemy hahahah, depends on what matters to you, what you want from a friend.
10 Reply- 1.1K opinions shared on Family & Friends topic.
+1 yNot necessarily. For along time, China nd Russia were enemies, and Russia (actually USSR) was the US enemy in the Cold War. That didn't make China a friend of the US.

u +1 yIt's only (semi-) true in international politics.
21 Reply That tends to be true. Russia and China are coming together because the USA is attacking both countries.

You're making it sound as if China isn't the aggressor.
Also, Russia and China have always been political allies.
China has been wanting to move on Taiwan for years, and now senses an opportunity. - +1 y
@KostasKouvalis I only tell it like it is. Obviously, the USA, the most warlike country in the world, is the aggressor.
- +1 y
Not towards China. The U. S. only picks on countries that are weaker then them.
The U. S. isn't the one who infected the world with Covid.
While I don't disagree with what you're saying, I am shocked that you would defend China and portray them as a victim. - +1 y
@KostasKouvalis Victim is not a word I would use in describing China.
Who knows about COVID? Certainly you can't trust Google or Bing since they block searches that indicate sources other than China. However, some non-mainstream sources indicates COVID was created in Fort Detrick, a US Army Futures Command installation located in Maryland.
According to China, “If the US really wants full and transparent investigation on coronavirus origins, it should invite WHO experts into the country, as China has done, and open Fort Detrick base ASAP and disclose detailed data on unexplained respiratory illnesses in July 2019.”
www.rt.com/news/572557-china-covid-origins-us/
Would China lie? I believe they would. However, they make a good point about inviting WHO into the USA. Would the USA and their media lie? Absolutely since they lie all the time. Mainstream media is to the USA what Pravda was Communist Party of the Russian Federation. The only difference is the Russian people were intelligent enough to know Pravda was propaganda. The people in the USA are too stupid to realized that about mainstream media. Just like Pravda was in the USSR where any other media sources was not allowed, with the RESTRICT act, the USA intends to remove all media sources except Mainstream media. - +1 y
WHO experts... who are funded by Bill Gates and the CCP.
Neither of whom are known for their transparency.
