Why do people always try to make me masculine?

I love being feminine. I am petite.. and I prefer to dress in feminine ways. But my family and my friends always push me to wear masculine stuff like all black loose clothes etc. And If I show them me wearing a dress or something they say I shouldn't dress like that..

I've told them I like being feminine and I don't wanna look like a man lol...

Also they trunna push me into having more masculine jobs and get more money but I'm very happy as a caretaker even if I make less money...

It's because you have to work to support a family now. It's not the 1960s. Feminism took away the ability for man to support a wife and kids. Now the woman has to work. It's embarrassing to have your woman work and women feel unsatisfied with working a 9-5 job and not starting a family.

I mean I dont think its wrong to want both partners to work but I'd prefer to be a housewife.

It's embarrassing for the guy cause his woman needs to work in order to support the family. In the past the man held it down. it's less respect and honor for men.

Most guys don't care about a woman's job. They just want a companion slash romanic lover. It's the consumer market that wants women to work and get money to buy more products. But with guys checking out of dating game or guys not pursuing women the consumer market is taking a huge hit.

A guy can work a regular job and take care of himself. Kids are expensive and same with dating. And the quality life has gotten worse over the years.

With less people seeing a relationship as desirable the more people are checking out. And all you see online is ads about getting married and having the perfect family, but most men and women are not buying into it anymore.

I still want to date women, but I don't think there's much I can provide to a modern woman.
