Should I tell the landlord company about my new roommate who wouldn’t stop knocking loud on my door at night?

I want to try to move out but I just started this contract for living here. I want to ask the landlord company if I can leave because of this hostile roommate. i don’t think it’s fair if I have to move out because of this angry aggressive roommate but I just want to keep the peace and you can’t live with someone so irrational and unstable. I feel like I’m going to have this person acting like this any time. How can you live with someone like this?

I just don’t know if I should mention the incident to the landlord company or not.

Here's the steps you need
1) Take video or audio evidence of their late night behavior

2) If you confront person, video or audio evidence. If fearful of their reaction contact your local police & see if it is legal to record as long as one person (you) consent and record the person discretely if legal.

3) If you feel it necessary go to the local police & make a police report, particularly if they damage the property in their behavior

4) Contact the landlord company, give them a time frame to respond by EMAIL them

5) Contact your local rental / tenants act state organization

6) If the landlord company doesn't respond, email them again & refer to your previous email

7) If the landlord refuses to do anything in most areas you should be legally able to remove yourself from the contract.

You want to use EMAIL when dealing with the landlord so you have evidence of the communcation and thus can defend yourself if they turn out to be asshole company.

With #1 - record / audio from your room

#2 - if you feel too nervous to confront the person alone ask a friend to visit, the friend can stay elsewhere in the rooms while you speak with the roommate. But friend would be a witness too.

I would. I would even take videos of what is happening as evidence. I would probably even speak with police to find out if there is a way they can be stopped

Thanks. I’m afraid this roommate will become more unstable if she found out I reported her. That’s why I try to act like nothing happened cause with angry people you don’t know what can happen.
