I’m just wondering how you would feel if you were me and if you were my neighbor?

This morning I borrowed $20 from my neighbor and said it was for gas, well, about 30 min ago, he saw me buying a bottle of Captain Morgan. He asked, “wasn’t that money I gave you for gas”? I’m highly intelligent and immediately said, “I did use your twenty for gas, this is my twenty”. Should I feel embarrassed? I don’t. If you were him, how would you feel? I just hope he won’t stop giving me money.

I just want you all to know that it isn’t like I don’t do things for my neighbor. I do things like talk to him, even though I really don’t like to, because he’s old and hard of hearing! The way I look at it, he owes me! My time is worth something, right?

i wouldn't feel comfortable being your neighbor with this information honestly. to be fair, i don't feel comfortable with neighbors at all. i don't interact with any of them unless they speak to me every blue moon or smth
