We slept together and he is clingy now. I like him but feel he is moving too fast. Any advice?

This guy and I have been going out for 2 months now (and I was out of the county for the last month so we've only, and we met online. he's very sweet, smart, we have a lot in common, and he treats me better than any other guy I've been with. He has told his parents and friends about me, and I have also done the same. I live with my parents, so they have met him, and they like him (which means a lot to me because I trust their judgement).

The problem is I think he's moving very fast. Like he proclaims he likes me a lot, he wants to go on a lot of trips, have planned activities for us to do, and when we are together he is physically clingy (like really). I love cuddling and the lot, but he literally physically clings to me. He hasn't dated much before, and has been hurt previously, so I understand the insecurity, but I just fear that this may be going too fast and I want to slow things down, and I worry that he could be the controlling type later on (and Im keeping an eye out for those red flags).

Im just wondering if any of you have been with someone who is borderline obsessive and how they were able to handle the situation, if you could?
