But Istanbul can sometimes make even a child tired.
What is your story with the city where you were born or spent your childhood?
But Istanbul can sometimes make even a child tired.
I was raised on a farm in the county of Pembrokeshire not too far from the coast. It's a rural coastal area popular with tourists. Its claim to fame is being the last part of the UK to be invaded by a foreign army in 1797 by American/French forces. They were captured by the local women
It also contains the smallest city in the UK St Davids which is really just a small town but attracts a lot of Christian pilgrims and tourists
I was born in Hwlffordd/Haverfordwest, an unremarkable town not worth a visit. Recently 240 skeletons were found under a shop many of them showing battle wounds thought to come from a joint assault by Welsh and French forces, who had united to battle the English in the middle ages
I was raised in Boca Raton, Florida. It's a coastal subtropical American mid-sized city known as the Beverly Hills of Florida... It's home to Addison Mizner Mediterranean revival style architecture found in neighborhoods like Old Floresta.
It's home to the Boca Raton Resort. It's a common venue for presidential fundraisers and other events were people throw around lots of stinking money...
The Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance
Highly manicured luxury beach estates...
Mizner Park an upscale mall and cultural venue for art, music, and theater events...
Large boat parties...
https://www.youtube.com/embed/eX6-EsAcMqgClean beaches, winter waves, and lively reefs...

https://www.youtube.com/embed/P4Ky5SfQijQI grew up in a small commuter town outside London but I left the area over 20 years ago. I always found it pretty boring even though it's actually a nice place. I was always desperate to move to away from there and live in London which I did and was very happy.
I now live in another country but I recently returned there to see my parents and although it was nice I just felt really out of place in the area. It's hard to put my finger on why though, everything just felt weird, particularly with the people, the way they looked and sounded. I just felt very strange there.
I was born in Doncaster England which through my young teen years I held up on a super high podium because that's where Louis Tomlinson from One Direction was from and had I stayed in the place I would have probably gone to the same school (though not at the same time)

I grew up in a middle class neighborhood in a medium size city in Northeast US. Everyone knew everyone, and we kids often got together to play all kinds of games in the streets, there weren't many cars. There were lots of small locally owned stores, all within walking distance. My mother often sent me to the local grocery to pick up supplies that she had ordered.
Iwas brought up in a suburb of a big city. It was a nice place to grow up in. There were a lot of woods we ran around in and a big pond nearby whare we skated. The schools were okay and I had lots of friends in the neighborhood.. The place is a real dump today. The town let builders develop every square inch. The schools are really bad and a lot of people moved out and property values have plummeted. I do not know many people I went to high school with that still live there.
sorry @exitseven but I was asking @Nehir
Her profile states that she is from the US but everything else in her question leads to believe that she still lives in Turkey.
I was born and still live in Lancing, West Sussex. In the 14th Century it was one of the largest ports in Europe. Then the Black Death hit and the village was abandoned, it hosts one of the most famous public (ie private) schools in England, and was lies immediately south west of the site of the Shoreham airport disaster. Oscar Wilde's bumchum died in a farmhouse in Lancing, and is also referenced in The Importance of Being Earnest with the character name of Lady Lancing. Leo Sayer was born and bred in Lancing, but got out as early as he could because basically it's a complete and utter shithole. Julie Andrew's stepfather used to live opposite me, met her several times, an utterly charming lady,,,
I was born in the city of New York in Queens very close to what is now JFK Airport where my father worked.
I was born in Portugal on the Azor islands on a military, United States Air Force Base I came to America at six months old to Miami Florida
Do you have duel citizenship or are you an illegal immigrant?
@purplepoppy no, I don’t have dual citizenship. I just have an American citizenship. I moved to Miami Florida a 6 months old. No, I’m not an illegal alien lol. My dad was a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force. He was stationed in Portugal at the time. With my mom, brother and sister when I was born.
It got its name from a folklore tale about a giant and his wish granting fish.
1st mention of the town is about 800 year ago.
Its famous for its carpentry trade
It survived centuries of ottoman raiding.
There are several mass grave from ww2 in the area.
