Is there another wsy to satisfy baby?

My son is 9 months old who used to enjoy being on the floor and playing with his toys.

Now he just crawls to me, stands up and wants to be picked up.

I hold him for a little while but I get tired of that.

He does good in his walker but I don't think he wants to be in that ALL day.

Is there something I can do?

u could get ur baby a baby swing that can mimic the soothing motion of being held by u or get him a comfort object such as a pacifier it keeps babies in more comfy mood being less needy
instead of picking him up u could play games with him, talk or watch something (preferably for very limited time, exposing em to tv screens n tablets, phone screens is harmful)

How is it harmful? I let him watch TV all day I don't know what else to do

their exposure to blue screen light for longer periods would harm his eyes n ears, baby's eyes n ears r too soft, softer than us adults
it also would cause him a delay in language development, disrupted sleep, major attention problems growing up, decreased physical activity, over stimulation n stress thus maybe why ur baby wants to be picked up n held for more comfort n it finally would reduce the parent n baby interactions which is super unhealthy

I forgot to add the noises coming from tv would affect his ears negatively cuz yk they r soft

there r tons of activities to make ur baby do instead of watching tv
like interactive games n books n babies puzzles

u could get him babies 3D books
its fun n suitable for a 9 months baby

Okay. The first is such a delight! It's also a challenge though (as you most certainly know by now).

At this point, that's most of what he will want, being held. You are mommy and therefore, you are his whole world. Have you read to him (be prepared to read the same book over and over again, by the way)? Most books by Sandra Boynton will probably be hits. Something else I did, albeit later, was I'd sing and dance with my son. I'd just hold him and move slowly in circles while What A Wonderful World was playing on my phone or computer.
