What do you all think about stubborn and ungrateful kids that don't listen to thier parents , and parents that allow it?

So I went to great wolf lodge with my girlfriend and her step mom and sister. Her sister is 15 and autisc , just putting that out there. But from a young age the mom , never punished her and just gets her whatever she wants when she wants it. That being said we have an okay time but towards the end her step mom rushes me and my girl to leave the pool because she wanted to go home so we did. That was at 2 pm then we had to sit and wait 3 hours she her sister could finish a quest. Now we're leaving , I'm big and have long legs so I wanted to sit behind my girl and her sister freaked out because she wanted to sit there. I tried to explain to her why and she just freaked out so I moved. But why can't she stand up to her daughter and stop just rolling over backwards for her. Children can't always get thier way. On top of that she is so disrespectful to her mother

So, someone with autism and to what degree, you rail about. Are you able to diagnose or have access to her level of autism?

I have a but a autism as well, and she knows what's she's doing. She acts out to get her way, she's never been parented properly. Just because you have something doesn't give you a right to be rude and nasty to people providing everything for you. We were around 100s of autistic kids there an not one of them acted like her. She does this because she always gets what she wants

So, the remaining question is, do you have her medical records and understand them?

Yes I do and she was misdiagnosed. Her mom doesn't parent her well. I'll give you an example. Around her mom she's rude and nasty to get what she wants. But with me and my girlfriend when we watch her sometimes to give her a break, she's never rude because she knows to behave. She only acts like that when she knows she can get away with it

Why because your wrong grow up and stop reaching. I've seen my brothers and my mom's. We're literally her emergency contact if they can't reach her mom think

Yea I know it's a shame, her sister had everything growing up and just abuses her mom.. I feel bad for her , she's sooo nice like my mom. She deserves better

Consult a professional. They probably could do it. The mom would just have to be willing to let the girl go through a little suffering.
In reference, have you seen The miracle Worker? It's a movie about Helrlen Keller, a child that, due to a fever, lost her sight and hearing at about 2 years old. She wasn't autistic but things are very similar. Check it out.
