Has your dad ever gotten really mad about something you did if so what was it?

Oh Gee, not often but oh yeah I remember the last time he got really mad, for anything actually. Way back when, my buddy found an abandoned 4 wheeler in a ditch out in the woods (a DS650, for those that care) and called me. Thing had a bunch of parts missing, aka had clearly been stolen. But in our mutually escalating stupidity we pumped ourselves up talking about how we'd rebuild the thing and have fun blasting around with this sick quad.

I pinned the trailer and we went to pick it up (quite literally, the thing had no wheels) and bring it back to my parents place. When my dad learned about this he lost his shit and unloaded on me. Never seen him that pissed, justifiably. lol Made us bring the quad to the police station, same station where guess what? Said buddie's dad worked at as a police officer. *facepalm* Yeah not our brightest moment but we ended up doing the right thing and lessons were learned.

Turns out a dude was out in the wood trails with his quad when his chain snapped. By the time he got back to it to fix it it was gone.

I just told this story but I will tell it again. Sometimes my parents would go out together to go shopping and sometimes for dinner. When they would go out that would take my father's car. My brother and me would take my mother's car out for a ride. We were 15 years old. We would drive all round town and if we saw a kid we knew we would beep the horn and wave. We always got back before my parents did and we were careful to put the car back exactly where it was.

One day as we were coming around the corner we saw my father 's car already in the driveway. Thy came home early. We knew we were dead men.

Responding to the SLJ meme above, I was a teenager when dad got very upset because my friends and I finished a whole bottle of gin that we stole from his bar collection.

What really got him angrier is that we refilled the empty bottle with rubbing alcohol.

Good thing he noticed that the bottle cap seal was broken and that the alcohol level was higher than usual which got him suspicious.

My dad passed when I was in high school but the last thing he got mad at me for was me trying to “run away” in sophomore year lmao. My dad was super strict and I was a wild child 😅. I wasn’t really gonna run away but I was trying to prove a stupid point and was gonna stay with a friend.
