I work at mcdonald's. There is this man in his 50s who started a few days ago. I think he's slightly autistic or something. He worked there before but just came back. So last night me, him, and another co worker find a large spider under a sink. Today my co worker said he, and the other guy were kneeling down, and the guy grabs my cow worker leg, and hoists himself up. He did have surgery a little bit ago and can't do much, but there were other things for him to grab onto and he grabs someone's leg? Anyways, my co worker tells him to please not do that again. He said later that this guy comes up to him and pats him on the back. So i felt like maybe I should tell my manager, because I dont want him thinking it's okay to touch people without their permission. So i tell my manager. She said that it's definitely inappropriate. She also said that one time he came up behind her and put his hand on her back, and she told him to stop. My manager talked to my co worker about it, and asked exactly what happened. It was exactly as i explained here. My co worker said that before this guy started, he saw this guy in his truck, and he asked a random girl to get in. Thats at least what I gathered from the conversation.

I would let your coworker handle it. The only way I would get involved is if your coworker was a minor and needed support going to the manager.
Well I already told my manager and my co worker is gonna write a report.
Sounds like you already DID, so why you asking, but I'll answer anyways.
Did he say to not touch his leg or do not touch him at all? Because leg and back are two different body parts. And I remember when a pat on the back was considered a nice gesture.
OMG, he touched her BACK, not her ass! Did he stop after she told him to? If he did, what's the issue?
I have no comment on the truck. I need more context. Are you sure she was RANDOM? Because a lady at my work said an old pervert was sitting in his car watching a young girl in the neighborhood, then it turned out to be his daughter.
But also yeah, he might be autistic and not understand social norms. But regardless, you Americans are so sensitive. You're acting like he touched someone's ass and dick. You could've just talked to him too. No need to immediately go snitching and potentially getting him fired. It's sad the manager even responded to this. You Americans are so sensitive! In high school, I had this old Computers teacher who would always put his hands on my shoulders. It made me uncomfortable, but I didn't report him or make a fuss, 'cuz it was just my SHOULDERS!
When I was in Greece, the tour operator was smacking Polish women's asses and they, just laughed it off.
Good Lord! I've never seen such sensitive people! Only Americans would report someone for grabbing their leg or patting them on the back! smh
No, you don't report him to HR or your manager because you are not the one involved in the touching.
You are interfering with something that does not concern you and you don't know all the circumstances of that situation.
It would be a totally different story if you were the one victim of inappropriate touching or something that you feel is not related to the work environment or work conditions but reporting something that you have seen and that you don't fully grasp or understand can lead to misunderstanding and possibly action against that coworker by management.
Keep out of something like that.
Funny i only learned what 'tism means days ago. Don't know if you looked up the definition but i always used it interchangeably with retard.
Acoustic people take everything too literally. They often struggle to see metaphors and allegories. A direct "stop" is not an issue for their compression.
Your coworker is probably not 'coustic, but has zero self control as his basal state of mind. Like when you get scared or angry you just don't control yourself. Some people are like that their whole lives.
Absolutely yes!
