Will it show up in x-ray? it's so embarrassing ...

Ok, So,I had an accident 5 months ago,doctors had to perform surgery on my left leg, (have 4 inch long scar on my left upper thigh). I've been walking with the support of all these months. My brother (he's a doctor too,doing further education) called me this afternoon, told me, they want me to get my x-ray near taken. He'll take my x-ray at the hospital where my leg was operated (that hospital is like 3 hours away from home) when he visits us i.e in about 4-5 days. I'm tired of walking with walker and want nothing more than walk without support,but the thing is... my period started today. (my period past for like 5-6 days). I want to delay x-ray plans,but I'm afraid that my Dad or my Brother will ask me why... it would be embrassing...so I was just thinking of going today,YW,get my x-ray taken (since the flow is light today). I was wondering if my pad will show up in x-ray?!... it's so embarassing :/

Btw,sorry about my broken English lol (I'm from Asian conti.)

Your pad won't show up.

X-ray will just scan your bones.

If you're really uncomfortable about having a guy see your "bones"/pad, simply request for a female practitioner.

You will be fine..its a medical test..maybe have a female doctor run the test

I think most doctors have seen worse than a menstrual pad on an X-Ray. That being said, it won't show up any more than your clothes do.
