Indeed, red is the color of danger, of passion and love.

Red has an important meaning in our sexual lives and the cosmetic industry has long discovered and associated the red as the color that attracts men to women.

The color red in lipstick was actually created to give the lips of the mouth the same tone of the outer labia of the vulva. The labia major turn a beautiful reddish color when the blood rushes to them when they are aroused by sexual thoughts or activities.

Subconsciously, men are attracted to the color red in women and it will not leave many indifferent to a nice pair of lips bearing this inviting deep red tone with a gloss to highlight the color even more.

Nature is full of the color red and it is both a sign of attraction but also of danger.

I own a red 2-piece suit, another red blazer with floral patterns, a red leather jacket and a red winter coat. I receive a lot of attention & compliments when I wear them, and girls on the street smile or say hi to me ☺️ It’s generally the most seductive colour anyone of any gender can wear 😋🤤

I love women in red (red lipstick, red dresses, red shoes, etc). My favourite soccer team (Manchester United) wear red. My bed is red with some gold. My favourite family of superheroes (The Incredibles) wear mostly red 😜

I think green is more alluring, personally. It symbolizes unbridled growth - the inevitability of life creating it's own opposing forces to press down on every balance with equal weight until the scales break. And then eat the scales to add it to its own mass. It represents an invasion of virility - violence is not needed, but is perfectly acceptable if it happens, because sometimes you have to earn your food and if you can't then maybe you are the food someone else needs to earn.

Also, it's the easiest color for human eyes to pick up.

Red is such an expressive colour. I love wearing different shades of red, maroon is a good one too. I have lots of shades of red lipsticks. And it's such a nice colour to add a pop into an (for me anyways) almost always black outfit hahaha.

I personally associate red with work because it's the company color for our work shirts and hard hats.
So while red can be what you said, it's effects are greatly reduced for me.
