I think the best thing about being unattractive is the freedom. There is no expectation or societal burden for ugly people to procreate or to contribute to society. It's quite nice.
Excuse me, Channing Tatum IS ugly. Yeah, yeah, he has a bangin' bod, but his face is far less attractive than the average looking guy in Fig. 1. Same with Daniel Craig. Not a good looking guy. Again, he has a great bod, but his face looks like it's been boxed. Mickey Rourke was not good looking to begin with, WENT boxing and got his face totally ruined, had plastic surgery and looks a terrible mess. Ryan Reynolds, Ryan Gosling... average, quirky looking guys who are fine actors... Most of these people, if they weren't movie stars, we'd pass on the streets and never notice them. What makes them attractive is they're very good actors (include Tom Hanks... Mr. Average Next Door) who've been in very good movies. The Brad Pitts and Hugh Jackmans are as rare as great looking guys are rare in REAL life.
@Robertcw He has ears that stick out, his eyes are too close set and small, his nose is bulky, he doesn't have a well cut face: cheekbones, dimples. He's got a neck like a tree trunk. Those things don't add up to attractive, though he's a decent actor. Brad and Jackman, you'd notice them anywhere if they were nobodies. The pix you used is a good example of Tatum's ordinariness.
@Screenwriter usually the face doesn't get cut/defined until a guy is in his 30s, for example I get told I look like a young brad pitt every once in a blue moon, emphasis on young though. He doesn't have that definition as much as he does now, so he looks better now? So having a strong neck is also unattractive? Sorry just picking up some points here, would you say what you find attractive is different now than when you were younger?
Nah. Pitt always had great cheekbones, dimples, smile. A lot of young male models have similar facial structure. It's not age, it's how the face hangs on the bones... Channing is in his late 30s and his face doesn't look like that...
@Screenwriter well his face leaned out and a nice jawline, some jaw muscles. That's pretty much what happens I was getting at. Obviously some people look nicer than others
Channing's neck is thick... as wide as his head. He looks like a football linebacker. Not attractive to me. Pitt's head is wider than his neck... Looks better. And my tastes throughout my life are fairly consistent. Naturally fit, not body builder thick.
@Screenwriter 🤣 You're insane. He's just a guy. No need to roast the dude's face. He's well above average, and if you're tearing into him this hard I feel bad for the regular people you meet everyday in the grocery store.
@Screenwriter "Channing's neck is thick... as wide as his head. He looks like a football linebacker. Not attractive to me." Then be glad he's not dating you! I'd date him if he was still single with no kids! He's attractive to me and those qualities that you find "ugly" I find masculine and that spells for a strong man who can physically protect me should the need arise! I don't want some frail or scrawny looking husband that people will think I beat up all the time! There's a reason for feminine and masculine features and both the genders! For some reason, it evolved that women found those qualities that Channing and other guys like him posses to be fit enough to reproduce with! Otherwise why bother!
@SueAnon84 Not saying Channing is not fit enough to reproduce. Certainly Pitt is masculine looking and strong too. Just saying that's not my type, facially. Clearly, he's yours. Not roasting anyone, just saying what I don't prefer point by point. Think his look, like most people's, including MINE, is ordinary, regular, not outstanding. And like most other people in the grocery, you would past me by too. Luckily our faces are just one part of our calling cards..
He's not. He's just OK looking. He could get a woman. We got lots of not so hot film stars who are "hot" because of their skills and roles, not because they're outstanding looking. A FEW are. But that's very few. Most are just passable. I'd say the majority of them DO have really nice bodies. But faces? Naw.
@Mistermiracle57 Can't divorce their skills and roles from their money and power... those are tied to each other... and in some cases their looks, whatever they add up to in the Hollywood parlance, play into that.
If you’re Ugly. People leave you alone to do the things you want. How many times you seen extremely successful people who aren’t models or tv stars or music artist? Never.

I was expecting to find at least one benefit that I could utilize
Ya, that was what I was hoping for too lol.
You're less likely to be targeted to be pumped and dumped unlike those dolls you see, who look like they're going to pole dance in a strip club.
@Unit1 I suppose it doesn't matter what their intent is

Why is a guy who looks like he's been physically beat up/defeated/abused the image of what an unattractive male looks like?
Lol your answer reminded me of this!

The guy in the pic is kinda cute. I get josh hutcherson vibes
if that guy you posted is unattractive then I'm Channing Tatum

Maybe not hot but ugly, no.

Today we learned everyone has types and what they find attractive is different compared to another ones preference lol

Excuse me... PASS me by...
Being unattractive isn't a death knell for your prospects in life, but it in no way confers advantages.
No lol.. just no. This still doesn't outweigh the perks of being attractive.
But yeah whatever helps you sleep tonight 😂.
That guy is kinda cute so you're gonna need to find an actually ugly dude

"Unnatractive" people have more loving and caring hearts sometimes
Why are all anons universally horrible people?
I hate being so fugly :( every day I wake up and I wish I could just die and disappear.
I’ve noticed unattractive people usually produce highly attractive offspring.
Really?
This is strangely uplifting. The biggest pro I've found is that you have to stand on your own two feet and be independent
Ugly mothefuckers usually get put on undercover detail because they draw little attention compared to someone with perfect symmetry
There are no benefits to being unattractive and how is that guy ugly?
He's not. He's just OK looking. He could get a woman. We got lots of not so hot film stars who are "hot" because of their skills and roles, not because they're outstanding looking. A FEW are. @Screenwriter remove skills and roles with money and power
@Mistermiracle57 but how did they GET that money and power in the first place!
@Mistermiracle57 Can't divorce their skills and roles from their money and power... those are tied to each other... and in some cases their looks, whatever they add up to in the Hollywood parlance, play into that.
@SueAnon84 hard work which plenty of women seem to avoid
Where's the benefits part
I think she confused the definition of benefits with the word disadvantage when she wrote this.
That guy is an example is “ugly”? He looks pretty attractive to me?
I wish I was unattractive. It’s a curse being so good looking.
Would you want to be ginger? I doubt it
And ugly
@LonelyIntrovert_94 better than being cursed
Not really, I would like to be even a little above average looking not ugly to average but probably ugly
If you’re Ugly. People leave you alone to do the things you want. How many times you seen extremely successful people who aren’t models or tv stars or music artist? Never.
But I guess the grass is always greener on the other side.
There are good and bad things about both, yes you're correct but no women find me attractive at all and, Im probably dying a virgin
Im not desperate anyway and won't resort to escourts or robots
People tend to stay away from you and that allows me to carry out anything without anyone bothering me
If that is the case, why have I seen countless times ugly couples with lots of children!
@SueAnon84 they may get laid but relationship is not at all possible cuz the significant other will more often cheat on them
Being ugly asf as a guy is awesome no wamen annoying u in ur ear
