Is there something in particular you like seeing your partner in and how does that discussion go? My husband and I have a habit of “misplacing” clothing that doesn’t fit into our direct preferences - and I’m wondering if anyone else has this strong favouritism.
I’m not talking about the sexual aspect, or something hideously off putting - just as a general daily thing do you like to see them in something you enjoy looking at?

Well, as you know, I am highly supportive of my girl's autonomy, her career, her interests, her choice in friends etc, and believe wholeheartedly that we are an equal loving partnership.
But when it comes to her underwear, that, I'm afraid, falls within my jurisdiction... thongs only, except for that time of the month...

Taking and hiding the stuff you don't like sounds like kind of a dick move. Like if someone I was dating stole my favorite skirt and threw it away because it wasn't their favorite, I'd feel like throttling them... and most likely dump their ass because that tells me a lot about them.
I don't care about what kind of undies he wears and he doesn't care about mine. Unless they're Superman Underoos that a 5 year old would wear, lol. I'm not going to go behind his back and throw out things of his that I don't like, though. My mom used to do that to me all the time :(
LOL! No I never had those. I should have made that a separate paragraph. I meant that once in awhile, my mom would go through the hamper and weed out items of mine that she didn't like or didn't think looked good on me. When I would ask her, she would say that I must have lost/misplaced it. It only happened a few times.
They can wear what they find comfortable as long as i am as well, to an extent though 😂 some things just not! Personally i prefer the guy to wear boxer briefs and i like to wear plain short boiled briefs, but would be fine to wear a bit more fancy looking ones and bikini
There are some terrible ones for both genders haha I bought my husband an elephant gstring as a joke Halloween costume but it turns out people actually wear them 😑
Well, no one forced you to look at those things on fetlife. ;-) There's kinky and popular and you'll see the stuff friends and people you follow commented on or loved as well as anything on the profiles you look at. But you can always get a rough idea about what people are into before seeing their stuff on there. But yeah, some people do wear those things. :-P I'll stick to boxers myself though and commando for her when possible.
She can wear anything she wants to wear, but I will put out some hints that like string (thong) underwear. I know many women dislike wearing them, so I wouldn't expect her to, but it doesn't hurt to let your opinion be known.
I have very strong preferences. Granny panties look simply awful on a female, If I was president, I would make then illegal. I prefer to see my woman in bikini panties or a thong.

It sounds soppy perhaps, but I honestly prefer her to wear whatever makes her feel good. It shows. When she is wearing underwear that SHE feels good in, she is noticably more confident. Applies to many things I think.
The only under shorts of his I remove from circulation are his holy shorts. I swear he'd wear them until they fell apart! I always intercept those in the wash. In turn, we buy him new shorts when we go shopping, so he never hurts for underwear. I get rid of my undies before they start looking tattered, I don't want him seeing me in less than nice undies, I always want him to like what he's seeing!
I try to look as sexy and appealing for my wife as I can. Day to day we don't bother too much, but we still try. She really likes boxer briefs on me and loves how my ass looks in them, so I try to wear them most often.
I have my preferences, but my wife can wear whatever she wants, there are no rules there. She also doesn't dictate what I wear as well. It happens that she wears mostly low-rise briefs, bikinis, or boyshorts, which are all styles I like. But maybe I like them because I like the person behind the panties...

I don't have a particular rule in regard to underwear, my only real rule is that if she's sleeping with me, she doesn't not wear pants to bed.
(I personally wear nothing to bed, and yes, I do have 100 pounds of blankets on my bed).
I'm single, but it would definitely be A - don't want her to be obliged or even pushed to do anything. On occasions, I'd love her to wear thigh high or garter belt stockings. I love those <3
Rules in any relationship lead to issues. Sure I have a preference but not a rule. My girlfriend can wear what ever she is comfortable with, and so can I.
I take a different tact. I'm big into nice underwear. Instead of taking away underwear I don't like I give my partner lots of gifts of underwear I do like.
I don’t have a girlfriend yet so I’m not sure if I have a preference yet, although those 1950s panties look outdated. I think the panties on the bottom left corner are the most erotic ones she can wear.
Granny panties are okay every once and awhile, but if she's wearing them every day we're going to have issues. I wear sexy underwear for my lady, and I expect the same in return.
i used to guft her some of what i like her to wear. but we haven't discuss this before. and she does the same as well

Ultimately, i really don't, however of course, certain styles (more revealing ones), are sexier. I just wouldn't take out the ones that aren't "as sexy", just because they're not as sexy, that's silly. I know women have their problems.. I wouldn't want her controlling what i wear either
Does it really matter? If ur seeing them in their underwear one of three things is happening. Y'all just woke up, are about to go to sleep, or about bone. Either way the underwear is either coming off or getting covered up
And life doesn’t matter because everyone dies anyway, yet we still make an effort at happiness day to day. Some things matter to people, just because they don’t to you doesn’t negate the happiness one might get from it
