If it's their girlfriend, and she's buying and wearing it exclusively for a private date night at home with them (like the OP is, for her husband, having explicitly said that she'd never dream of wearing revealing clothing outside of the house or for anyone else)? Of course they wouldn't be saying "I hope so". They'd be saying "HELL YEAH, I've got the best girlfriend EVER!"
