Picture one is not curvy. That is called overweight/obese. Curvy originally meant skinny with bigger boobs sand bigger butt but small waist. The original measurements of curvy in my day were 36"bust 26"waist 36"hips Nowadays anyone overweight being called curvy.
I mean Curvy. has become shorthand for larger but I would say curvy means having weight in the ârightâplaces the places that are considered classically feminine and attractive. I suppose the hourglass shape is the classic definition of Curvy, but I would say anybody who is larger in the thighs, arse, and breasts. Not necessarily all of them but one or more of those parts. It doesnât mean you have to have a flat stomach, a person can still have a belly or be larger but I would say you would have to be apportioned in a way that still keeps that curvy shape. I prefer the term thic because I think it better sums up what people are trying to express when they say curvy. You can be thicc and not have that classic hourglass figure. As long as you have weight in the ârightâ places or you hold the weight well. Someone can be thic and pretty heavy too so it isnât as depended on a certain shape.
I think Busty speaks for itself that means big breasts, thatâs all it means so you could have big breasts and still be really skinny and still be busty.
People have started using fat in a more positive way but I would say itâs still for the most part is used to mean unattractively large. In our society I think we still use it to describe people who arenât that big frankly, I mean we say Hollywood stars haveâgotten fatâ which most of the time is just nonsense. Terms that can be used for larger women that maybe donât quite fit in the curvy category are chubby, and plump. In certain circles these are still considered pretty negative, but I donât think they have the hugely negative affect the word fat still has to it. Its body positivity I think itâs changing a lot but 9 out of 10 times if youâre calling someone fat youâre Insulting them.
If you have noticeable curves, you are curvy. It has more to do with your body proportions and fat distribution than your body weight. You could be thin and curvy, you could also be chubby and still curvy if your body still maintains those proportions. But I do feel like when you become extremely underweight or morbidly obese it can ruin the natural shape of the body so it doesn't look as curvy as it could have looked.
Honestly, hardly anyone is completely straight and hardly anyone has curves everywhere. Most women have a fair amount of curves at a healthy body weight.
To me it is a women with large curves. Something like this :

She has larger hips, larger breasts, larger ass but it is still in proportion, she has bigger assets but its not fat. Look at her belly for example. Meanwhile the leftist body positive propeganda want you to believe this is the definition of curvey

Technically Curvy means when you hips are wider than your waist, but should mean hourglass or pear shaped. The first girl is curvy, but she is also heavyset. The second girl is top heavy, not really curvy because her hips aren't that different than her waist. People gotta learn to look at body structure as well as weight smh. Beyonce and Doja Cat are curvy and Lizzo is curvy, but she weighs more than they do.
I think fat ladies do themselves a disservice when they consider themselves curvy because not every has the same body shape and you can dress for each different structure and look great.
For me, curvy defines the feminine. Women's breasts and the contours of their waists and hips are curvy. Using the euphemism to define blubbery is bullshit. In fact, fat women are less curvy than average women.
I just recalled the book series, The Number 1 Women's Detective Agency. The lead character, M'ma Ramotswe was fat and proud of it. She described herself as a "traditionally built" woman. She talked about un-fat women as "those skinny girls". When someone told her, "You are FAT m'ma!" they meant it as a compliment. It was like telling her she was lush and sexy; a real woman.
So, instead of hijacking the word "curvy", fat women should embrace reality and be proud of their bodies.
Curvy means she has more of an hourglass figure. She has a large hip ratio to her waist and bigger sized honkers.
Fat means she is round and overweight.
Obese means she is a blubber nugget that would surely crush you with her whale sized fat rolls.
Thick means she is chubby but she looks good. She has some fluff to her. She's still reasonably healthy and maintains a decent amount of pudge on her body that looks sexy and feminine.
Thicc means she has a nice ass and some good far shakers on her.
It means you have curves as in you have a certain difference in your hips to waist ratio where you have curves that are easily noticeable. Hence why you can be skinny, athletic, average, chubby, or fat yet still be curvy. It's entirely based on how your body distributes fat and just how your body is built. These two girls in the pictures below for example are curvy. You see both of their hips pretty noticeable and their waist looks small due to how far their hips stick out.
It means voluptuous. Tits and ass, a waste. Big is thick. As in thick around the middle, fat ankles, fat thighs. Usually big tits. Fat is fat. Everybody knows what that is. Busty is big tits.
What's concerning is your confusion. You don't know what a curvy girl is?
When I type curvy girl into Google you get different types of images. Curvy could mean different things to different people hense the first picture. I've always thought that curvy is the nicers way to say heavy set but I'm guessing curvy leans towards healthy now that i have read all the replies
It means she has a defined waist to hip ratio. Examples include J-Lo, Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, Beyoncé and Scarlett Johansson. The girl in the top picture is nothing like any of those women. Sheâs just a fat chick. This is coming from someone who used to be really fat and lost weight, and Iâm not saying that to be mean just being honest
So on a woman what that means is radically different width measurements for different body sections, an hourglass figure.
or it could be localised rounding, some ladies have particularly round bottoms or breasts etc though while i say round, round isn't necessarily the point, its more a pleasing shape, whatever that happens to be.
So this is why its said that 'she has curves in all the right places' it kinda means where ever on her body you look there is a pleasing shape.
Neither of the women above are curvy by the way, though some might use it quite wrongly to describe the lady in the top picture as a euthemism for fat because they dont have the strength of character to either say what they actually mean or keep their fucking cunt mouths shut if they dont have anything nice to say.
Originally, curvy described a woman with curves (breasts, hips and butt), and it was generally a compliment to having a shapely figure. Sometime within the last decade, the "curves" now include fat bellies, so now I don't use the term at all since I generally try to avoid confusing people.
Fat/thin refers to body fat percentage. Curvy/not curvy refers to body proportions (hip to waist ratio, butt size, thigh thickness, and boob size are all components). Think of them as two totally unrelated axes that any woman can be plotted on. There are thin and curvy women, there are fat and non-curvy women, and there are women that fall in the middle for both.
hmmmm... i have no idea? pretty much all of my girlfriends are what i would call curvy but none of them are fat or anything and none of them look alike but they are all curvy. hang on - i am gonna read some other responses.
I can't say exactly what it means to everyone else, but when I hear someone being described as curvy, the first thing I think is fat. There are many different levels of fat, but that is what comes to my mind. It's just another diversion like big boned. You know, fat.

Curvy means the woman has curves. That's all that means. When a lot of people talk about curvy women, they talk about women who are big, fat, plus size, whatever you wanna call it, but a woman can be in very good shape and still be curvy. There are women that are slim but they are still curvy.

A girl with a prosperousi hourglass figure is the typical curvy girl, but I think that almost every type of body can be good or beautiful as lonflg as it is healthy
curvy means that you have a visible waistline meaning your waist is visibly smaller than your hips and your upper body. it does not mean "fat" or "chubby" but i know fat and chubby people love to sugar coat the truth... i mean they are probably where they are cause they love sugarcoating too much.

Google or a porn site lol. I would say curvy is overweight in a good way. I like my women curvy or in my terms thick. When I say thick I mean thick all in the right places like butt and breast. Curvy to me means this including arms and thighs. Busty is breast size larger than normal for that size person.

I define curvy as a women who has a full figure, larger breasts and fuller hips. Fat girls trying to claim curvy for themselves is hilarious.
In our culture, this kind of women symbolized fertility.

Curvy means fat now. In a few years, it'll be a misogynist slur. Then the fat chicks will have to find another word to use to make themselves feel better about being fat, and that will become a slur, and on and on.
