Can other girls relate to having a conflict of style like this?

One side of me wants to look like a fairly princess who lives in a cottage in an enchanted forest and the other half wants to look like a edgy, rock chick. I'd say my wardrobe is a good mix of the two but I can't dedicate myself to one style. Plus what styles do you lot prefer more girly or edgy?

When I was younger I was edgy but in a cute way nothing too much, at the very moment at 32 i'm very girly long dresses, high heels and so on. I think style changes over time, but i think you should use both just like you do right now, you should not choose one since you have the capacity to be both, why not? I mean there is not written rule about it. Actually, I find it quiet unique the way you describe your style. It's your style and you have to like it, don't force yourself to PICK be whatever and however you want dear.

Yes I did before but it’s best to choose whichever style suits you. I watch really girly you tubers and have a lot of girly things but my style is more of the edgy/all black style since it suits my features and body more. Although I wish to wear all pink and be girly all the time, that style just doesn’t suit me and I look bad.

You don't have to choose. You can be both (and more.) As long as you are being authentic to yourself.

Costumes, I'm personally not into. They are often cliche, and used as a mask, a defence.
In the fashion world, saying something is 'costumey' is an insult.

I have a dress similar to the first, and I also enjoy wearing suits, I wouldn’t call it a ‘conflict of style’, I’d just call it being dynamic and versatile
