Ever have someone tag the side of your house or car? Pisses you off, doesn't it? But it doesn't piss people off to have the same graffiti tattooed on their bodies. Graffiti on your house can be removed or painted over, while graffiti on your body is much more involved to be removed. It takes a little more than sandpaper or paint remover. Fads can be found in thrift stores after the novelty wears off. Tattoos are mostly permanent. Lasers can remove a tattoos, but it does not make your skin look brand new. There will always leave your skin a lighter shade that will no longer tan and stick out like a sore thumb.
I feel the same way about tats as do you.
They are purely a fad. Most people just want a tat for the sake of having one. It's like a badge that says they are edgy or cool. The design of the tat isn't as important as the fact of having one.
Tats on women's bodies look like vandalism. Most of them are like the kind of doodles a kid would make in a notebook when they are bored. Few are artistic, original or attractive. They distract and detract from a woman's flawless skin. Her flesh no longer looks tender and pristine.
It's like a form of self harm.
Some tats are just silly, but some are grotesque.
I can envision temporary tats or body paint being really attractive. There could be different designs for different occasions. But, at the end of the day, permanent tats are not versatile or attractive.
And people who get tats don't seem to have any idea that they may may change and mature over time and may look back in a few years and wonder "What was I thinking?"
Even fashions change over time. For example, when I was in high school, I grew my hair really long like a rock star because it was cool. But at least I could change my hair style as I matured. I could also change my taste in clothing styles. I'm glad tats weren't popular when I was young, stupid, short sighted, and concerned about peer pressure, or I probably would have gotten some. God knows what kind of retarded graffiti I might have had indelibly emblazoned on my skin.
I also wonder if tats are related to the increasing trend to get plastic surgery and body modification. Being well groomed and in good physical condition isn't enough for people who aren't happy with themselves. Some girls these days are obsessed with commercial images of perfection. They think surgical modification of their faces, boobs or butts will make them more appealing. But, in my opinion, tats, piercings, plastic surgery and even gaudy make up just makes them appear phony and shallow.

Because graffiti is something that is done by someone else to your property and is unexpected and unwanted. Whereas tattoos are something that are done willingly by the wearer. The argument can be made as to why someone would be willing to tattoo their bodies, but it's a willing choice, unlike graffiti.
With that said, I have no issue with tattoos, just not on the face. 😬 The examples you shared are worst case scenarios that, even within the realm of tattoos, is fairly rare and is something I'm not into it at all. But ultimately, I'm fine with tattoos as long as they are at least reasonably done with a good flow, and not hateful, racist, sexist, laced with profanity, overly sexual, gross or morbid in nature. Just not on the face.
See I wouldn't mind if it was proper graffiti, my city has loads of murels some are really nice others are damn right weird but still looks okay, others are full-on comedy gags. Like there was euro PM's and Boris and it said something like can you jump, Boris reply was how high, and woof, with actual ears and a tail and hands in a begging position, it was hilarious. But again that's normally paid for, probably not the gag wheel that was obviously pissed off spray painters, but it's normally consented. I would be super annoyed if I had, Brad was here all across my house.
It's like the trends awhile back people chose to do them and prepared for them (ice cold water tipped over heads, something like salt and hot sauce on skin to create burns, red carpets, putting lips in a glass and keep sucking air out to make lips more plum). But these were all things people consented to doing and that's the difference.
I like certain tattoos. But what you’re showing is a Mental illness. It’s the same as hoarding disorders, or having 40 cats or collecting reptiles.
Something like that.
I like stuff of this sort.
And no I don’t see it as “GRAFFITI”. It’s only GRAFFITI when it’s something stupid , ugly and dumb. If you see YOUNG DUMB HONEY BUN. She for example gets some DOODLES drawn on her. The type of decor I want to me is like turning a regular house into a CATHEDRAL! or MOSQUE 🕌

Looks ugly, stupid, trashy, and to me, it seems to be a "fuck you if you don't like it" statement. I've never met a really bright person who had extensive tattoos. If you add a bunch of piercings to a bunch of tattoos, you have people who look so absolutely fucked up that I would classify them as a different species.
Ten or fifteen years from now, a majority of these people will REALLY regret messing up their bodies like this! Because people consent to getting their bodies tattooed but don’t consent to OTHERS touching their property? What kind of stupid comparison is that?
And believe it or not, there are people who paint their houses and cars with crazy designs because they like it and CHOOSE to do so. Just the way people CHOOSE to get tattoos.
worry about your own body. If you don’t like tattoos, then don’t get tattoos.
I personally hate tattoo's they are unattractive and trashy to me. And most women are so unoriginal or uncreative with them like find me a woman with something other then a tramp stamp or quote tattooed on their lower back, spine or below their boob by their rib.
And the difference between someone tattooing themselves and tagging my house or car is that my house and car are my private property whereas I don't own their bodies that belongs to them so why would I care what they do with it?
Because on my house I didn't pick the design or who did it I didn't get asked "how's this look?" Every step of the way there's a huge difference between your house and body now let me ask you something using the same template if I personally put " graffiti" on my house right and you tell me you don't like it well it's my property my home I like it I won't ask you to or do it to your home but I like how mine looks you see how your question has multiple holes? I'm only 16 and I can already see the bigger picture like how I don't like how some people dress I'm not going to blatantly tell them like "what if ur kid dressed like that" they wouldn't mind they'd find it endearing that their child dressed like their mommy or daddy so you can't say stuff like this I hope I opened your mind a bit today :)
Well one is a personal choice and one is vandalism forced upon you, they aren't even close to the same thing.
Why do you hate tattoos so much? How do you have energy to waste on this? Good looking, bad looking, who cares what other strangers you see in public look like? You're gonna see, be around, or remember them for like 5 minutes before you never see that stranger again.
Like standing in the checkout line, it dosent really matter if it's a guy, hot chick, or an unattractive girl in front of me, if it's a hot chick I check her out on the downlow for 3 minutes and if it's a dude or girl that don't tickle my fancy I legitimately mind my own damn business or look at my phone.
Everyone isn't out here to please you, look at what you like and ignore what you don't, it's not hard.
I'm sure the tattoo people don't like your boring blank skin anyways so the feeling is mutual. When my son told me he planned on getting inked I told him if he did I would remove it with the belt sander.
he knew I was serious. I think that today he is glad he did not get it done.
Too lazy to read the question, only responding to the title..
Realistically it is graffiti, but the difference is that it’s your own design. So it’s going to be seen as a good graffiti.
Usually graffiti is not paid for, and gives you a nasty shock when you find it on property. Tattoos are usually a decision that takes a lot of thought.
Unless you allow someone to freestyle, you also get to see the image or writing before it’s transferred onto your body.
Because graffiti that a person doesn’t want on their house means it was probably put there without their permission.
Tattoos are normally done by willing participants, and usually hold meaning to the person getting them done.actually there are areas of my city that it's fashionable to have large murals on the side of your house, the difference in tagging and facial tattooes is that these people have asked someone to paint their face, and the problem you have with it is that you have strict cultural rules against it, probably stemming from a judeo Christian upbringing. The only answer I have to this is if you do anything in life properly try to be original, and try not to be an asswholes. If you have tattooes on your face and you are a good person, I will like you. Hypocritical Christians are not very useful people.
Probably because the graffiti on their house wasn't put in there by them or with their permission.
And Jessica Rabbit avatar? What Da F*ck? ! ?
Difference is consent. I consented and chose my tattoos, and they’re something I put a lot of thought into before getting. I didn’t consent to have some stranger damage my property by spray painting it that will now either cost me to fix it, or will cost my insurance company to fix. At least with a tattoo if I decide I don’t like anymore or shouldn’t have gotten I have to pay to have it removed or covered up which again is a consent thing.
It’s different when YOU consign the graffiti. Ell oh ell! If i woke up one day to find someone just tattooed me without my knowledge or consent, yeah I’d roll some heads. But since i walked in, carefully picked out what i wanted, sprinkled in some personal flavor, and paid handsomely for a professional to do what i never could…. NOT the same. Not even comparable.
The premise of the question is a little off, but I get what you're trying to say.
In the US, the tatty bidness continues to rise, both for inkin up and getting it removed.
Kinda like marriage. We love to do it, and then love to un-do it at pretty high rates. Humans gonna human.
it’s always amazing how people go to the extreme.
I guess who would you rather your son bring home, a girl with a tattoo on her back or a Toxic bitch…
looks like graffiti wins then.
Plenty houses have murals, decorations etc
or are the doors all one colour, the window frames, the fence, with nothing hanging outside such as hang baskets, wall decorations to brighten things up.
they are here, I guess some people live in Blandsville
@daniela1982 that chick uptown loves to start fights and will insult you to get you to insult her back & she has a mod friend she tags in her post or DM's in post to ask her to strike you down & tries to get your acc frozen. Just report her for being offensive before she reports you.
some people want everyone to know they are trashy and have mental issues and no direction in life. Personally i prefer that they let me know up front, saves time.
"I don't have any investments or retirement plan but I had money to trash up my body permanently so most good jobs will be off limits for me?

I’ve never liked tattoos and piercings, and don’t see the appeal. People are of course free to do as they please, but as far as I’m concerned they’re permanent reminders of temporary insanity.
Jesus fucking christ shut up. The same tattoo shit that recycles on here.

I never realised this was such a sad occasion. I won’t wear tattoos unless it’s an eye on my left ankle, and graffiti on my property would be OK if it’s not something offensive. I hypothesise that people these days are too materialistic, like worldly objects rather their own body. But honestly, that’s just my view.
Graffiti on your house is involuntary, if you want to compare it to a tattoo. Then it's paying someone a lot of money to paint your house with the biggest amount of attention to detail, at your request.
I don't have any tattoos, but it's almost disrespectful to compare such personal art to a random teen putting some graffiti on the side of your wall.
