Which beard length is best?

Interesting. If you look at my profile pic, I shaved and my face looks fat. Almost with jowels if you look close. So I figured a short beard was better since it slimmed my face outline. But maybe it depends on what kind of girls I want to attract

I know they would prefer to be with a guy that is actually somewhat fat but not insecure about it at all

Does it really matter that much? Cuz all I'm insecure about is that I'm balding. It makes everything else I try look worse. And surely actually balding has to be less attractive than just being insecure. I don't see how being confident would make up for that

I know some guys that started to bald at their early 20's... they didn't make it an excuse so it was not a problem in the end

I know a lot more guys that have a bit of over weight, same thing, they didn't make it an excuse so is not a problem

trying to justify excuses and making them a problem is just not attractive at all... surely not for my ex-girlfriends, lol

I started losing mine at 19 right after breaking up with my ex. I've had a 7 year dry spell since. Seems like losing the hair literally made me unable to get the kind of girls I like to notice me anymore.

Any tips for improving my mindset?

I'm really muscular (16% bodyfat), but my face is still chubby, and it feels like it doesn't matter. Obviously confidence is better than being insecure, but it doesn't feel like I can attract anyone who isn't overweight or weird whether or not I'm confident.

The only things that I think could fix the problem at this point would be medication or for a girl I like to actually be interested in me.

I've several times tried just being confident, but I end up feeling like a fraud.

One of my other questions shows all the girls I've talked to or been out with and asks if they are in my league or not. They are good examples of my type.

But in words, mainly athletes because of my own athletic background. Intelligence is nice, but I just have to be able to carry on a conversation with her about intellectual topics.

Cool animals, good books, good food, astronomy, if there are aliens lol That kind of thing. Nothing too crazy. But most girls I meet are basically brain dead and only talk about social media, reality tv, politics, and stupid personal drama.

Well, the creepy part is that body hair removal on men and women is a psychological attraction to youth, which is natural, but people who want men and women super hairless actually have pedophilic inclinations. It ISN'T pedophilia obviously, but it's creepy that they want the smooth/waxy look because it mimics how teens and children look... yuck.

Now that obviously doesn't apply to shaving backs or aggravating areas. And it doesn't automatically mean shaving one's face is bad, but yes, I know what you mean.

I’ve got a pretty long beard. Like you in the first or second pic. I don’t really think it’s that long but my family are like “it’s ZZ Top long!”

It gets really tiresome being “the beard guy.” Strangers comment on it in coffee shops and bars. I don’t like my face. That’s why I have a beard. 🤷‍♂️

Well ZZ Top didn't really even take care of theirs... It is just rrally long and not trimmed or really maintained in any way, so that's not a great comparisin. I had that comparison too despite my unique beard color. Kinda annoying but something that big is going to attract attention one way or another.

Sunglasses pick. When beards get too long they tend to get a mind of their own and get frizzy. About 2 inches looks the best on mist beards.

That's what I'm thinking too. I just prefer the look and feel of the shorter/midlength.

The cool thing is that mine when long isn't frizzy at all, it 's immaculate. But bed beard is real... People were in awe of it. I don't know if it was the beard oil or just lucky genetics, but the beard was in perfect condition. Definitely good news for if I become a wizard after retirement haha
