Will guys think I'm ugly because my hair isn't as long as a super model?

When I was younger (like 12), my hair literally cupped my chin. Now at age 20, my hair is a little bit past my shoulders, but not by much. My boyfriend told me that he wondered how I looked with longer hair and I don't know how to make my hair grow past my shoulders like to my elbow at least. I have black hair, but have seen girls who aren't even mixed have hair down to their asses. Any suggestions as to how I can make my hair as long as those girls? In less than a month?

You can't get really long hair in a month without extensions. To grow your own hair long you're gonna have to start using protective styles like braids or twists for a long time. Deep condition your hair once a week and wash it every two weeks-1 month depending on how dirty/oily your gets. Make sure it's a moisturizing shampoo/conditioner.

After you wash it, make sure you start from the ends when detangling and gently work your way up to the roots. The most important thing is leaving your hair alone and not over manipulating it all of the time because it leads to breakage. What you want is length retention.

Is your hair curly? Mine i got mine to grow long with keratin treatments, being very gentle when brushing and wearing it in silk at night. There are supplements that do seem to help too like hair skin and nails vitamins and msm with vitamin c.

So my ex was black and she would get hair extensions and braid her hair. It would be like four hours or whatever to get them done but it looked hot and she would be able to leave it like that for a while.

I don't know. I've always had a thing for dark shoulder length (Or slightly shorter) hair on women. I think it's super cute. My ex was obsessed with having really long hair down to her ass but I secretly think really long hair isn't as cute, it's annoying when we were in bed together and I was always laying on her hair and accidentally pulling it. Also the super long hair plugging up the shower drain isn't great, and it takes a lot of shampoo and conditioner to wash, and her hair takes a long time to dry it.
