Soo... I have been using a biotin and caffeine infused hair tonic. I have noticed a significant amount of hair growth by far as I needed to get my sides trimmed for two times last week. I have also been using coconut oil as a pre-wash cure for a month, I can't speak for its effects on hair growth, but it did some good in terms of repairing my split ends.
+1 yAyy dude, congrats on noticing faster hair growth! Here are some more tips that may help:
- Massage your scalp daily for 5 mins. Increases blood flow to follicles for nourishment.
- Eat healthy fats like olive/coconut oil, fatty fish, nuts/seeds. Good for collagen production.
- Take a biotin supplement if you can. 5,000mcg is a good daily dose.
- Alternate hot/cold water in the shower to stimulate follicles. End with cold last.
- Minimize heat styling and tight hairstyles if possible. Less breakage means longer hair.
- Try rosemary oil - some studies show it rivals minoxidil for growth results. Massage a few drops in before bed.
- Stay hydrated homie! Water helps flush toxins for healthier hair.
- Get enough protein - your hair is made of it! Lean meats, eggs, cottage cheese.
Keep it up dawg, sounds like what you're doing is working great already. Let me know if any other tips would help! We're all trying to get that silky flow going, ight?12 Reply- +1 y
I smear coconut oil on my scalp though🤣🤣. I have heard about rosemary oil a lot before, but never tried it.

Yo dude, coconut oil on the scalp is legit! That sh*t works wonders. And rosemary oil is also supposed to be really good, I've heard the same. My sister uses it sometimes and her hair is always kinda thick and glossy looking.
If I were you, I'd try mixing a couple drops of rosemary oil into your coconut oil before putting it on your scalp. Then you'll get the benefits of both - coconut for moisture and rosemary to really stimulate growth. Maybe try it for a month and see if you notice an extra boost.
But for real man your hair is already lookin fresh, so you must be doin something right. Keep it up and you'll have a full healthy head of locks in no time. Don't be afraid to try diff products too, cause sometimes your hair just needs something new to break through to the next level. Keep me posted on how it goes!

+1 yI have too much hair as it is. If I go to a hair dressers they have to take thinning shears to my hair. So I just let my hair do whatever it wants.

+1 yCongratulations on the hair growth. I make sure my hair is always hydrated. Having curly hair means it’s more likely to dry out fast. I also put hair oil (my mom made it so I cannot confirm contents or if it actually works) and massage my scalp weekly.
I stopped using shampoo completely and focus more on conditioner. Instead of shampoo I use co-washing which uses a silicone-free conditioner to cleanse.12 Reply- +1 y
I have heard some curly haired people use hot oil as scalp treatment but I don't know if it works on everyone.
- +1 y
I’ve heard this also since the concept is to open the follicles but I just use oil and put my head into a steamer hat 🤣

Who knows, Chen? How's everything between you and Cedric?
+1 yWhen putting coconut/other oils on your head. Make sure that you wrap your hair and leave it in over night. Your scalp needs time to absorb properly.

Yeah I tried it before but withou using a cap or something to lock the moisture in. I'll try this method next time.
- +1 y
It's super uncomfortable and takes a lot of getting used to. But it locks in that valuable moisture. Also, just a tip. Try doing it on a Friday so you haven't gotta worry about washing it off in time for work. Also, wash your hair with conditioner BEFORE shampoo anytime after using oil. It's a game changer trust me.
Eat healthy - fresh vegetables and fruits, not much fast food and Junk food or ready made food

If it is virgin, it can be lifted to a beautiful shade of blonde.🤣🤣🤣
- +1 y
lol... legit question here
if I ever went blond with it... would it ever return to it's original dark tone and shine?, or is there going to be some sort of permanent change? - +1 y
It is permanent lolol, but your roots will keep growing as dark as it naturally is, so it requires bleaching from time to time. Also, the colour will start fading in a couple of months. Visual examples will be sent through private messages.
- +1 y
what I meant to ask is... if done only once, how much of the "damage/change" will be permanent on the natural tone
- +1 y
you can dye it to your original shade but it will fade, so it'll never be the same unless you stop dying and let your roots grow.
- +1 y
in terms of damage, your current base (natural hair colour) and hair texture play a huge role.
Don't get haircuts.

Is that funny? Water makes your hair and nails grow faster is no joke. Wash your hair every day instead of washing it every other day or only a few times a week.

It is just common sense. That was why I found it funny🤣🤣
