Tinder is full of fake profiles!

Seriously, meet ‘Lola:’

She claimed to be from Minnesota visiting her sister in Modesto, Ca. She eventually asked for my number and then unmatched me. Red flag number one.

Then, I got a text from a ‘269’ area code number. Red flag number 2.

The person behind this profile did a good job sounding consistent in their mannerisms but eventually they asked me to go to a scam website and enter personal information to ‘verify’ a safe hookup.

Obviously some old guy in the Midwest trying to scam Californians.

Tinder is full of fake profiles!

The worst part was her profile appeared totally normal and unsuspecting. She was 22, in Modesto and had 4 normal looking photos of the same girl. Nothing suspicious at all.

It really makes me wonder how many out of my 107 matches are fakes or bots. It’s sorta mind blowing.

Real life pickup is far superior to Tinder folks. It just is. Regardless of ‘the so called death of PUA’ written about on this site a short while back — I don’t buy it at all. Women still flock to bars in skimpy clothing every weekend. They still go to beaches and shopping malls in groups of two or three. You can talk to them and flirt, get phone numbers and take them home. My friend always gets phone numbers every time he goes out on the weekend — not sure how he does it. He’s not physically attractive (imo). But he has the right kind of personality that attracts girls to him.

Some girls on Tinder are real, sure. But not many. And most which are, aren’t exactly super hot. And SHOCKER, talking to them on the app is EXACTLY the same as talking to a girl and flirting in real life.

So why use an app?

I’d guess most of those profiles are fakes. Not all of them, but the majority that aren’t fake that will actually match or respond to your messages will be average or below, statistically speaking. Why else would a girl go on an app? If she had options in real life? Looking for hookups or not?

I think that’s the key question. Hell, even this site is a better option for talking to real girls online than an app like Tinder is.

Maybe things would change if I included a shirtless beach photo or a gym photo showing off my physique, maybe a shot of me doing a squat wearing a tank top, or something. But as it stands, with only a couple selfies that show my face and a different facial expression and one skateboarding video loop this is all I’m getting. Admittedly I’m probably underselling myself on the app — not trying super hard. Def. no dslr photos. No staged photo shoots. All my photos are selfie shots at my appartment complex. And they were all taken at basically the same time while skating a tennis court. 🤷🏻‍♂️

What I do know is that I could at least talk to real girls at beaches, bars and shopping malls. They could see my body and my face 3 dimensionally, see body language and interact in real time. With Tinder, maybe I’m talking to an incel catfishing, a scam artist in Michigan, or maybe she’s real. Who knows.

That uncertainty is lame and a waste of time.
