do you always know where your boyfriend/girlfriend is or what hes/shes doing?

I've noticed I normally know where he is at night but during the day not as much. obviously with fire school and school I had a pretty good idea. but with break not so much. even before sometimes id ask my boyfriend "oh how are your day?" and he'd just say OK or boring. Then a week later we'd be at the movies and he'd mentioned he already saw some of them with his police school friends or by himself.

i wouldn't say he's lying he prob doesn't find these thing important to mention at the time.i know it all goes off trust. if I trusted him it wouldn't matter if he was eating out or at the movies by himself or with the guys..but sometimes it makes me feel weird because my ex and I use to always know where each other was, but we were weird.

whats in like your relationship? what's "normal"?

Oh my gosh! My boyfriend is just like this! I don't know what he's up to right now and we have been together MANY years... I will hear things down the line of what he did. He says he just doesn't think its important to mention before.

It's funny because last night on NYE we were with another couple and my god, this friend's girlfriend knew EVERYTHING her boyfriend was into and knew names and places and things that I didn't know.

I am starting to understand that some guys are just like this... and yes it does hurt a lot.

I wonder if this is just something to brush off our shoulders until we are more joined with our boyfriends, like living together? Maybe then we will be more informed of what they're up to as you'd see them more often, etc. But don't feel like you have to rush to get there or anything.

I knew what my boyfriend was doing because he'd tell me. In virtually all of my relationships, I spoke to my boyfriend every night on the phone so we'd always discuss our day. If he went away on vacation or something then we'd speak when he got back but still he'd fill me in.

I think you just need to mention to your boyfriend that you are interested in what is going on his life. Tell him to share with you the things he does. You might have to extricate the information to get him into a habit., Perhaps no one really took the time before to care about him or his day? This might be new to him so to speak.

my boyfriends the same way, I think guys just sometimes don't find it important to tell us everything like I guess going to taco bell after work with a bud is as important as tellin us theyre takin a sh*t. BUT always keep a eye open. My boyfriend once told me he was home, I found him at his friends. Excuse was, that he doesn't want me jealous which can be true cause I do get jealous so I now force myself to trust him, why start fights over my insecurities.

Well like the other day he told me he was bowling. I surprise him at the bowling alley..he was there. I think he's honest. I hope he is. I hope he isn't hiding anything important, like another girl

I like it when the partner doesn't always know where you are. It used to bug me that my ex wanted to know exactly where I was, and it bugged me even more if she got annoyed because I neglected to tell her I was doing something. If it's a good relationship you should be talking a fair bit, the trust element should begin to fall into place.

something was wrong with the commenting it would let me. but you know, sometimes just to make myself feel better I will occasionally just to prove to myself I worry to much, I will secretly go through his phone and I don't find anything wrong. I felt bad about invading his privacy but I know if I left my phone in the room, he would most def go through it lol
