Guys, if you lend your jacket to a girl, does it mean you like her?

So, yesterday at school it was really, really cold and I only had a hoodie. We were in class and my friend/crush was sitting at a desk in front of me.
He was teasing me because he was sitting with his back pressed on the radiator while I was freezing and he knew it. He kept moving against it saying "oh it's hottttt" and I told him "you're so meeeeeaan" -- then, after a bit, he stopped and pointed at his jacket on his chair asking me if I wanted to wear it since I was cold...

I would think he was just being nice, but he's never really been a gentlemen around girls, except with me.
I read that if a guy wants to lend you his jacket, it always means something. Is it true? Was he being flirty?
