A random guy messaged me on facebook. What should I do?

I got a random friendship request from a guy on facebook. I ignored it, but after a few days he messaged me 'Hey'. I replied with '.. hi?' After that he sends me 'I just saw you on facebook and i think you are really cute'
I haven't replied yet and I also have no idea if I even should reply. I have never seen this dude in my life but... I don't know :/ It's not like I have any interest in him because i like someone else, but he does seem really nice..

Eat catfood all day

Pester humans by knocking over all of their stuff

Climb in every closet and cabinet of the house

Then he said 'You really are cute' I said 'uhh.. thanks' He said 'Np' and i didn't say anything after that at all and neither did he. Never trust people you don't know especially online. There are so many catfishers that pretend to be somebody there not. There are bad people out there. Don't message him its not safe!

I watched a show the other day called killer post. Where this girl went on a camping trip with a guy she met online. The day she was suppose to return she was dead in the stream of the woods. The girl was 18.

I'd ignore Me Facebook. Do you have any friends in common? Ask them about him. If not, delete and run. Also change your settings so only friends can message you.

Too dangerous to take chances based on a seemingly random message from a complete stranger.

I would be careful, lots of creepazoids out there. Maybe just chat and see what he is like. You never have to meet him so you are covered in that sense. It is just chatting no harm in that. Just never tell him where you are going to be etc., keep things private.
