What do I do if I DM my crush and he never responds?

I DMed my crush "hey" and he didn't ever reply. Yet, he was online. Then again, he could have just not seen it, or he is uninterested I don't know.

How do I message him again to capture his interest without coming off weird or desperate?

Ask him a question. If he doesn't respond, ask in person if he got it. You'll find out quick if he saw it or not.

Talking in person is easier because you can come up with an excuse to interact.

So what question would be good to ask him? We are friends but we dont casually talk all the time

Maybe when a school event is, or a mutual friend's phone #. Something that would seem logical to contact him for :)

True, I'll ask when our friends group is hanging out next. We all meet up with these kids from a few cities away and make plans so that's a good reason!
