Is making a guy blush a good thing?

My boyfriend and I were talking, and the conversation somehow steered toward marriage. We were first talking about how certain animals mate for life, and which ones would make good pet names for a husband/wife. Anyways, he said he didn't know why I was so turned off to marriage, and I just said that I wasn't terribly so, but I just don't think getting married was an absolute must and that I could be perfectly happy just being with the one I love. He replied saying that he did want to get married one day, because he didn't believe in dating someone forever, and then I said that I was certain that if he ever decided that he wanted to marry me one day, that I would say yes. I felt myself start to blush right away after I said that and wanted to rewind and take it back, even though I meant it, and he said it was pretty bold of me, and that he was blushing too, and that it was a first for him. Is that a good sign...?

First off, I'm totally comfortable with being with one person for life, just not married. I can definitely see where you're coming from because I feel the same way.

Anyway, he probably blushed for the same reason you did. Your response was unexpected. It's probably not a good or a bad sign, just an indication that he felt surprised that you would actually say yes to marriage with him even though you aren't for the idea of marriage.

to me that means a good sign because that means he's thinking about the same thing and you didn't know it till now.

He blushed because he was happy that even though you are not entirely on board for getting married, you would do it for him. And you did just say that if he asked you would marry him, so in a way it was sorta like a mock proposal.

It's a very good sign. when a guy blushes, it's either because he is embarrassed about something bad or because he is embarrassed about something good. The fact that he told you leads me to believe that he really really likes you

blushing is a physical manifestation of the hearts' reaction. it is your heart sending you a message. it is a good sign. I wish you both very well; I hope you never stop blushing. :)

Typically people blush when they are nervous. Only he can answer whether it was a good nervous or a bad nervous.
